Lesenswert, gibt einen echten Eindruck von Indien, auch Indiens Slums, Slumlords and was ansonsten noch passiert(en kann). Ich habe Mumbai dieses Jahr besucht und war auch im "Leopold' (was heute ein unattraktives Touristenlokal ist), aber das Buch ist teils autobiographisch und daher auch besonders interessant. Was fuer ein Charakter, dieser Mann, Gutes und auch Boeses vereinbaren sich in seiner Gestalt. Manchmal muss man tief Luft holen und manchmal ist man geruehrt.. absolut lesenswert.

It was the most unusual book I have read for a long time. I found the historical aspect so interesting but it is such a massive read you need to keep it for a time when you can follow it through on daily basis.
