No more oily bottles!!
I LOVE this thing. My biggest pet peeve is when you pick up a bottle of olive oil and your hand gets covered in it because it’s dripped all over the cap and down the sides. This jar is not only beautiful to look at and elevates your kitchen aesthetic, but it DOESNT DRIP. It is designed so that after you pour, If anything does drip out of the spout, it falls back into the little funnel thing and back into the actual container. NOT down the outside of the jar—your hands will never be oily again! It is a very thin glass, so I am very careful with it. I was also worried that if I filled it too much, it would be too heavy and the little spout would pop out when poured, but it stays in there so well. I honestly don’t know how it does that, it’s like magic—but I never have to worry about holding the spout when pouring. I love this thing and definitely recommend to anyone who also HATESSSSS oily hands when cooking.

Beautiful
I bought one of these a few years ago and loved it. The spout pours at a perfect pace. It looks great. It holds a good amount of oil. But I knocked the spout against the cabinet and it broke (completely my fault - a very hard knock!). So I emailed the company and found out the sell the spout separately!!! After making absolutely sure I was ordering the correct spout, Steven, the company representative who helped me, sent me the spout. It fits perfectly, looks great, and I love this cruet. I also bought a smaller one as a gift for a friend, and she loves it too. Did you ever buy something that you really loved, and every time you pick it up you think it's just perfect?? That's what this is for me. It looks far more expensive than it is.Update: My brother (quite a great chef, but...) broke the spout again. But now the spout is not available and Steven has moved on to other things I guess.

The Best Storage For Oils
This is our fifth Eleton's Planet Glass All-Purpose Cruet. We have had 3 of the large and two of the small bottles for many years. They are great, mostly because they eliminate oil mess while keeping it clean and fresh. They last a very long time. They pour accurately. The only negatives are that washing them can be hard because the mouth is small. It becomes easy if you find the right bottle brush with a long set of bristles on a springy twisted wire shaft. But harder still is drying the inside after washing. I've tried pure grain alcohol, which will dry the bottle, but it must be completely removed before oil is added or you will have impossible cloudy oil. Paper towels or pieces of them are easy to lose inside the bottles, so you might have to rinse them to get it out. Full size Bounty towels are big enough to wrap around a bottle brush diagonally to get into the corner and tough enough to not fall apart. So, you might be tempted to not wash the bottles. Almost every cooking oil will eventually polymerize and form deposits around the mouth of the cruet and on the spout. So there does come a time to clean them.So here are some don'ts: Don't scratch the bottles, especially on the inside with the wire shaft of a bottle brush or the blade of a knife. It will be a weak point. Don't hit the outside of the bottle against ceramic tile (like a backsplash)--the bottle will break, particularly if nearly empty and the inside is scratched. The other way to have problems is to force the tapered spout into the bottle. Just let it drop in of its own accord. It will stay in just fine. If you ever find it is stuck, apply soft heat to the outside of the bottle neck only. The bottle neck will expand slightly and the spout will remove easily. Sometimes the oil in the bottle will polymerize between the spout and the neck. A little pure grain alcohol will quickly dissolve the oil and free the spout. We love these bottles and will continue purchasing them.

Exactly what I've been looking for...
I've used this daily for a coupe of months now & have been nothing less than pleased with this purchase.I ordered two different designs from the same brand. I found this one to be the most pleasing visually as well as easy to use. I haven't cleaned it yet, but do not anticipate any troubles with that.- easy to hold and use.- no problems with the spout coming loose &/or falling out whilst pouring.- never drips outside of the collar. i.e. outside of the bottle stays oil-free.- great looking design; simple & elegant.

Nice Looking
For the most part this is great. Looks nice, does not leak and has been durable enough. But it does flow slowly.

Excellent intelligent design and looks beutiful
Excellent Design. This is very functional and looks elegant. Because of the large size you can hold a lot of oil before having to refill. Refilling is easy as the mouth doubles as a funnel. Keeps oil inside the bottle after pouring as there is a small slit on the side to keep spill from spout running down edge of bottle and making a mess.

Love this!
Easy to fill and great for cooking. Pours out slowly enough so that you don’t end up with a ton of oil in your pan. Beautiful on my counter.

Does not leak oil on the sides
It is made of glass so non-reactive with oil and the spout is large enough for thicker oils.
