Love the light show!
This film creates a beautiful bright iridescent light effect to any room where sun is shining in. I had a friend who sent me a picture of one on a window and I had to get one. The one I chose is the “radial” pattern. It creates a multi-lined rainbow effect that is very pleasant. As for install, I did nothing special. I found the sweet spot for placement with my hand while the sun was shining through the glass. I cleaned the glass with glass cleaner. I did not bother with the soap water solution and squeegee, although I am familiar with the procedure. I just pulled the adhesive protective sheet off, held the window film carefully at the top two corners and let it fall gently onto the glass. It was mostly free of bubbles, but some massaging towards the edges squeezed out what was there, and 24 hours later there are no bubbles left. Easy and quick. This was for the 12 x 18” sheet. The larger one is probably a bit more difficult to place like this, but should be doable. While I have not tried it yet, I strongly suspect that it is easily removed and could be put on another window. What I do know -for sure- is that I am going to purchase a couple more in different patterns. I love the effect it adds to my room, and that same effect changes as the sun moves and changes angle. It is a great light show. Highly recommended!

Einfach bezaubernd!

I love it but..
I don’t think a sheet this size is worth $45. I’ve had it for about a week or so and I’ve only seen the rainbow one time for a couple hours. If you get it, I guess apply it to a window that actually gets straight sun beams and not off hand light? I guess? Haha, It’s pretty simple to install even without water and a squeegee too though. I just cleaned the glass good before I applied it, has a couple little bubbles here and there but it isn’t even really noticeable.

Just get them them!!!
These are amazing. I put them in my art room at school and it is now a magical rainbow room. I am known as the rainbow teacher know. I have three different patterns but the Crystal is my favorite. It creates bright lines of rainbows where the confetti makes more broad rainbows across bigger areas. Make sure you study your window and put the clings exactly where the sun hits directly for the longest period of time. The sun has to hit it to work.

Hiccups when installing led to a cloudy look
I did not find this product easy to install. I originally bought another film with a stained glass pattern, which I kept on the top panel. I moved the bottom panel to another window and installed the new holographic film. I bought it because I was interested in the rainbow pattern being more of a solid rainbow than a scattered one from the stained glass style. If you're looking at which of these two to buy, you can use my experience as a comparison. The top panel (not this product) looks better on the window. The rainbows it creates are smaller with a scattered look. It was much easier to install. It was also easy to place on another window. The holographic panel I found much harder to install. I had to replace it multiple times and keep spraying down the window. My big mistake came when I found two small hairs underneath the film about am hour or two after it had been installed. I peeled back the film, from the left top corner and from the right side, and tried to remove the hairs. It didn't really fix anything because the little cloudy outline of the hair didn't go away. This was at night. The next morning I noticed distinct cloudy sections where I had peeled the film away. I talked I should have probably used more spray after peeling the film away. I tried to peel it back and spray and them put the film back, but it stayed cloudy. I think my film is ruined. It still makes rainbows just fine, but it's not a great look. The original cheaper stained glass film looks much better on the glass and doesn't have this issue with becoming cloudy. I realize this was an installation error but I'm a pretty detail oriented person and I tried to do it right and had a poor outcome. I like the rainbows but for $44 I'm not satisfied with the overall look on this panel, and there's not enough left to do another full panel. Still haven't figured out where I'll put the rest, but I'll be a lot more careful to avoid letting any air (or hairs/dust) get underneath the film, which seems to be what causes the cloudiness. Keep the film clean and wet when installing if you buy this one.
