This brand of peat pod expanded very quickly and well when sumerged in warm water. After the seeds germinated, it was very easy to remove the outer lining of the peat pod to transplant the seedlings into a larger container/ the ground..(whichever you choose for your seedling). (recommended by YouTube videos) to ensure the roots have room to spread and the plant has room to reach its full potential. Although it not necessary, I did it to my seedlings and it was extremely easy and did not damaged the roots. Also the seeds did very well germinating in this peat pod mixture..

The product worked wonderful.The quality was so ggod and seeds started germinating within 24 hrs. Easy to use and worthy.

They didn’t expand as big as I was expecting, but maybe should’ve read the details a little closer. Ended up just breaking them apart to put in a bigger pot. Will buy a larger size of pellet next time. Overall, worked great and had seedlings within a week!

I'm very happy with these so far. They are quite simple to use. They quickly expanded with the addition of water. I planted my seeds which then quickly germinated and became seedlings. So far so good.

Definitely convenient but we planted the same tomato seeds in a tray of these beside another tray of garden soil. Same environment. The plugs took 8 days longer to germinate and while they are doing fine after 3 weeks, the soil starters are double the height.Also disappointed with the count. Says 50; got 46. Couldn't even fill a tray of 48 starters.So, works great but with a tiny bit more effort and less expense regular garden soil is superior.

These disks are very dense and hard and take quite a long time for the water to soak in. Even after quite a bit of time soaking they were hard enough that I had difficulty with larger seeds that needed a deeper planting. I like another brand I have purchased much better.
