New Seasons Small Recipe Binder - Favorite Recipes: Made with Love (Chalkboard)

This small recipe binder is full of important details that one might find in a cookbook, i.e. - general substitutions, weights and measures, conversions scales and more. There is plenty of room on each page to write both the ingredients as well as the directions. In addition, there is a section for notes. I used these sections to describe where the recipe originated, as these books will be a special gift of family recipes to my daughters. I purchased two of the same book and am quite pleased with the purchase. Pages are thick for writing on both sides and not seeing through to the other side. The only item that I would add is a pocket section for recipes. Because it did not have any pocket folders, I gave it a four. Other than this reason, the product is of sound quality with an aesthetic value.

I love most things about this recipe binder. It’s a good size - small while still being big enough to fit full recipes. It’s attractive, and the paper is thick enough that the pen doesn’t bleed through. The recipe page set up is uncomplicated (though there could be less lines for ingredients and more lines for the steps, which isn’t a huge deal).My only complaint it the dividers. I would have liked to see more options for categories or else more thoughtful titles. There’s a tab for Cookies and another for Desserts, but not a generic tab for “Baked Goods”? Then you have a tab for Appetizers, Main Dishes, Side Dishes, and Grilling. I’d have much preferred a Miscellaneous tab instead of Grilling, or else a Breakfast tab or a Soup/Salad tab. Alternatively, providing a set of stickers to where you could pick your own section titles would have been far more useful than the preselected options.I’m still pretty happy with the recipe binder. I’ll just have to get creative with how I organize my recipes.

I was looking for a way to share family recipes with my children. This book is just perfect! It allows me to write the recipes in my own handwriting. The page dividers keep things organized. It is a beautiful, well constructed book. This is a book that will be passed down for many generations

I purchased two of these for grandchildren. I added some recipes and gave them to the kids to add their own. A wonderful keepsake.
