I've been making theater popcorn at home for over 20 years. I started out buying 5 lb. tubs of coconut oil and 5 lb. bags of kernels at a theater supply company over 20 years ago. I have to have that coconut oil taste and smell. Then they started making kits. I had been buying a different brand of all in one popcorn kits from Sam's Club for about 6 years previous to trying this last month. One of the reasons I considered changing is cost and delivery, but if it doesn't have the theater size corn and the proper oil, I would buy the more expensive brand. This has met my requirements.This purchase pleasantly surprised me. It has the nearly the proper amount of oil, smaller kernel, and taste. However, the salt flavoring is a little different from the kits sold at Sam's. I like a lot of salt on my popcorn, so I buy additional flavored pop corn salt which I put in when I add the corn. The salt in this Superior brand has a stronger butter flavor than I'm used to, so I don't use the included salt at all. If you like a stronger butter flavor in your corn, then this is perfect. Even if you don't, the savings on this brand more than pays for the additional purchase of salt. This is very good popcorn but after using about 8 batches, I'm going back to my old brand. I shop prices for quality corn and this price will be hard to beat. UPDATE: I've made more batches of this popcorn and sorry to say several of them have burned slightly. This package really needs a little more oil to keep it from burning.

These 4-ounce portion packs are perfect for one really hungry movie watcher or two not too hungry people. Everything you need to make yummy movie theater style popcorn is in the kit - the coconut oil, salt, and kernals. This is real theater style popcorn - with the same fantastic taste! One pack is enough for two people (you can also purchase larger portion packs, but this size is perfect).My family loves the authentic flavor, and the portion packs make it easy to use as stocking stuffers (hopefully none of them are reading this now!!)

This popcorn is great! A good value for what you are getting, less expensive than some of the other options I looked at on Amazon, and still delicious! There can be quite a few old maids at the end, but I think that is also may be us getting used to the machine a little bit. We use this popcorn in the Maxi-Matic EPM-450 Elite Tabletop Old-Fashioned 4-Ounce Kettle Popcorn Popper Machine. We turn the machine on for just a couple minutes to warm up before pouring in the packets. It tastes just like popcorn you would buy at a sporting event. Yum!

This is good for my small countertop kettle popper. I have tried 2 others and this one is similar. I have yet to find one that tastes more like what you get at the movie theaters. Maybe it is what you add to it? Not sure. Good buy for the price.

Pretty good popcorn. Not theater popcorn but better than other popcorn I have popped at home. The only thing is the oil is a solid, not liquid and must be heated to pour it from the package into the kettle for popping. I would buy this again.

Great product. I’ve only tried one other brand in my popper but I don’t meet to try any others. Pops well. Great flavor.

Delish! I love this popcorn. I was very pleased when I made my first batch. I was unsure of buying this online, but was very happy that I tried this brand. So nice to find a product that is reasonably priced and beyond expectations. I will definitely purchase again, as well as recommend.

Great popcorn tastes like the movies without the added hassle of salt and butter. Reminds me of the old hardware store... or at least mine. Lol. Great value and good all around.
