I’m on my second bottle- it works beyond well. I wake up with a glow and healthy looking skin.

Scent is tobacco smoke, herbal, woodsy and pepper, it’s not my favorite scent but willing to try it if it calms and detoxifies my skin.No instructions or packaging. This is my first Caudalie product from Amazon. My first thought was this might be a counterfeit product on Amazon since I have purchased many Caudalie products directly from the company. I have never received any of their items in this lower quality bottle with a paper printed label.I had to go to their website to find how to use instructions. Instructions state:Apply 6 drops of your Overnight Detox Oil in the evening, alone or before your moisturiser. Avoid the eye contour.After some research, the Caudalie website does show the product in an amber bottle with a paper label. Ok don’t judge a book by it cover. I guess this product has been around for awhile but is going through a repackaging.After using the product several times I can totally stand by its claim as working to calm irritated skin. The fragrance isn’t even as bad on the skin as the scent from the bottle, smells similar to tea tree oil.The thin oil spreads evenly and doesn’t leave a heat residue. I let it sit for several minutes and then I need to add additional cream moisturizer. I have combination skin and this doesn’t really take care of the drier areas. When I wake the skin is visibly more even, lots of the redness is decreased and the texture is very soft and smooth. I’m really surprised, I mean I do use other Caudalie products with good results too but for some reason I didn’t think this oil would be great because of the smell and packaging. I was wrong. Great product, does exactly as it states.

Another great Caudalie product. And they have a few. This claims to detox and purify pores overnight - which is a bold claim.I incorporated it into my routine which is frequently changing, due to the fact that I’m constantly trying new stuff on my again skin. Anything that claims to plump out my wrinkles, and purify my pores is definitely worth a try.I cleansed, toned, moisturized, and switched my regular face oil to this one, and what most people perceive as the strong smell, yes i understand, i can smell rosemary right away, i grow it, and use it frequently in my cooking, and rosemary essential oil is indeed very pungent and aromatic - almost a green smell.It’s quite easy to apply, doesn’t need much - 2 drops was enough for my whole face and neck, and did not cause any reaction or breakout. That being said, I’m not currently seeing any benefits either, but it’s only been a few days.And i do like the smell, because I love rosemary, so I’ll continue to use it, and in fact rosemary can actually stimulate new hair growth, so i don’t see any reason i can’t put some on my scalp too 😂I like the texture of this, and the smell, and hopefully will see some results on my face, as i have aging skin, lots of wrinkles, open pores. I’m a good subject for this product.I will edit my review if further results become apparent.

I bought the face mask of this a while ago and loved it so when I saw this I had to get it, it works well, but it has a very strong scent, the smell isn't horrible but it isn't my favorite, I didn't think this would be an issue at first since the mask has the same scent until I realized that this one would last much longer since you rinse the mask off, overall it isn't really a problem just a minor annoyance, it also leaves your hands feeling very oily and gross for a while even after you wash them, however it does moisturize and detox my pores, I don't think I'd buy it again but if you don't mind strong smells than I'd definitely recommend.

I don't use the Caudalie Overnight Detox Oil every single night, but I use it on nights that I feel I need some intense hydration. Now that the weather is changing back and forth (it seems like nearly EVERY DAY), my skin is having a dreadful back-and-forth moment. It's hydrated, it's dry, it's peeling, it's...oh, never mind. My own face seems to be having issues that my adolescent skin never had, and I pay attention every day to how I treat my skin.This oil is very easy to apply: you add a few drops into your hand, rub your palms together, and then gently press the oil into your face. Only a very tiny bit is needed to cover your entire face, and I feel that the price is fine for the amount. Caudalie is a fine company; I've always liked their products. The smell is strong--it's herbal (rosemary, and yes, YOU CAN TELL), but it doesn't bother me. It may be slightly overwhelming to some people. I like rosemary, and this kind of has a scent redolent of the spa to me (I like cooking with rosemary, too), so YMMV. All in all, though, this moisturizes well, and it doesn't clog my pores.

I chose this brand because it is considered a "clean beauty" product with less toxins than most. This one has no synthetic "fragrance/parfum" Meaning ... it has a natural smell from the ingredients but there is no added toxic fragrances. As others have mentioned the smell is more herbal and stronger than most, but natural elements have a smell. You can't always have things smell-less.Applies nicely as an oil. Soaks in well. Not sticky at all. For my middle aged, normal to dry skin it works well. I would not say it makes an miraculous difference but it does make my skin feel good in the morning. I will be using this every night. No issues to remark of.
