As a child I played with one like this. I gave two as gifts to two grandchildren. Both enjoyed the gifts as they enjoyed the science and the wonder of this great little toy. It is well made.

Good for the price. It spins well (acts like gyroscope should) for about a minute.Only problem is the string gets torn up, but easy to cut and re burn end

Metal was bent on arrival. Thought it would be a fun physics display, but constantly fell from being bent and off balanced.

I got this after playing with one in a class, but this one has pieces that are kind of loose. The loose fit of the pieces throws off the balance of the whole thing and messes up its procession. Oh, and I dropped it once and it hasn't spun the same since. Horrible durability despite it literally being made of metal. You get what you pay for, I guess.

I got this for my 13 year old grandson for Christmas. I also got him another game he wanted and some other stuff. But this is the one he kept on playing with. I think it fascinated him so much that he kept on pulling the string and seeing what all it would do. Great Gift for young boys!

Not exactly sure where the defect is (seems like things are not tight enough I guess) but this grumbles and wobbles and doesn't do the one thing it's supposed to do. Pick another one - not this one.

The bro loved it! He was 15 and fascinated with such things!
