Perfect fit and easy install
This fixed the hood support problem I was having on my 2001 GMC Sierra 1500. The original was intact but weak. Just replacing the driver side completely fixed the problem. Easy to install, just two bolts. I no longer fear having my head crushed!

Fast Service and well made correct part
Part arrived sooner then expected and worked perfect even though it said it did not fit. Went by number on old part and the new one on web site had same number so I went for it and it worked..15035591L

Factory OEM replacement
OEM General Motors part. Exactly as originally manufactured. I removed and replaced my original hinge (with a broken spring) and installed the replacement hinge in just three minutes. All you need is a 13mm socket wrench. Great value. I paid $22 here on Amazon March 25th 2024.

Safety and the integrity of my motor parts cause when the coil jumps off it does it with force
Is working as it should however the coil spring does look like is sliding off the shaft. I’ll keep an eye on it hopefully it stays in place.
