We add this to our smoothies and it blends well. I like that it is organic so we have peace of mind of knowing that it was grown without pesticides and handled safely.5-star product.

Product is bitter, but I was expecting that & plan to use in sweet foods. What I didn't expect was the "Product of India" sticker on the outside though says Packaged in the USA. Plus the "WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including Lead, which is known to the State of California..."

I believe this is a very poor quality product and Amazon does not accept returns. The Amla berry has a pit like an Apricot and I don't believe this pit is removed before grinding, hence the gritty fragments of the pit. Very disappointed.

This is a solid powder with good nutrition.Good consistency, mixes well, and decent taste.

Agree with the other reviews that the powder is gritty and has sand-like texture. Tastes a bit like dirt.

Mines not gritty, maybe a little more texture than some brands. A tad darker too but still within realm of norm in my experience. I add it to my tea (amla isnt strong in small doses-- mild tartness) or smoothies, usually.

I bought 4 lb bag, it contained lots of stones, Maybe bad batch, I ordered different brand since refund is not available.
