Not for carburetor applications
This pump will not work on a carbureted fuel system. I have a 1996 4.3 mercruiser lx v6. This thing does nothing but fill my carburetor completely up with gas way too much pressure for carburetor. Mind you my carburetor is brand new just tore it all apart checked floats and needles comes back to this fuel pump being the culprit.

Junk. Don’t buy for boat
Put in my 99 Volvo penta 5.7 GSI tbi engines. They need 30 psi, they will run up to 30PSI and hold it for a little, then drop to zero. These are junk. Lesson learned, spend the extra money on Volvo pumps.

Pump fell apart
Good thing the pump fell apart before it was installed instead of falling apart out on the water could’ve been a disaster.
