Great find
I had a Denali that I used for years, but when it gave out I searched for a good replacement. This was a great find. It heats up super quickly and works fantastic! Easy to travel with as well

Magical flat iron hair straightener
I can't believe that I never knew about this amazing hair styler before. My hair is naturally curly and can get frizzy. This flat iron instantly straightens and totally smooths out my hair, making it shiny and frizz-free. it is easy to handle/use. The only way I would improve it is to allow it to be used on wet or damp hair. Ones hair needs to be totally dry (as stated in the instructions) and they aren't kidding - I once attempted to try it on wet hair and it emitted a sizzling sound, so I immediately stopped!

I wanna hate this straightener but I can’t…
Updated review below…(Original review) :I plot getting rid of this thing every single time I use this straightener so I can purchase another one hoping I find a better one so I can return this one. Something..anything to justify that I really don’t like this darn thing. Sadly I love this straightener. Do I think it’s worth $200? No. Do I think it’s worth $150? No. I think this is worth $99 if even maybe less. It feels very cheap. It’s extremely lightweight. Which yes I do love, but again it feels very cheap. They are probably making a killing off these things because they probably aren’t but $20 or less to produce. I really love how small it is. It really isn’t a very “large” straightener and would be perfect for travel if this straightener could work for your hair. It truly straightens my wavy/semi thin/thick in between hair very quickly. Like 10 minutes or less kinda quick. The first time I tried this straightener wasn’t on clean hair. I absolutely hated it. I flat out said this ain’t gonna be for me. I’m returning it. Next time I used it was on clean blow dried hair and I swear my hair hasn’t ever been so soft in my life. You pair this straightener with the Kenra platinum blow dry spray your hair will be as soft as dolphins skin. No joke. It straightens my hair so well and I so deeply want to hate it and return it because of how cheap feeling it is. I feel like it slightly pulls my hair too. I’m so undecided. I love hate it…..oh and the set temp thing doesn’t bother me. It heats up plenty for my hair. My hair takes very well to being straightened. Thank God. I really do like that it makes a noise when it’s ready because I know I’m ready to use it. It heats up super quickly too!UPDATED REVIEW (CURRENTLY RETURNING THIS ONE AFTER PURCHASING THE HOT TOOLS PROFESSIONAL PRO ARTIST 1 1/4 INCH):Little back story I purchased the original GHD flat iron. After tax it was close to $200. A few days later I purchased this one after seeing that it really is highly rated out of so many reviews. I needed to give this one a try to hopefully save myself some money. I’m glad I gave this one a try because I am currently in the process of returning the GHD. I truly cannot justify paying $200 (almost) vs this $50 one. They truly are EXTREMELY similar in results (at least for my hair), both beep, both heat up super fast. I do think the GHD gets my hair a little more pin straight like I would prefer. It’s very lightweight and small (but straightens my hair so fast!) compared to this hot tools flat iron. I am sad to return it but the price is what’s getting me. It’s very cheap feeling because it is so lightweight. If it was $100 I probably could have justified keeping that one and returning this one because I really do love how straight it gets my hair, but again it’s waaayyyy too expensive. I would love to repurchase the GHD one again someday if this one doesn’t end up holding up as long. I’ve noticed this one does straighten my hair good by gives a lot of static kickback. Not sure why that is. The few times I did use the GHD I didn’t have any static to my hair at all. This hot tools one also can leave a crease in your hair if your not quick enough sliding the plate down. I didn’t get that at alll with the GHD so I will definitely have to learn to work quicker. Using the Kenra blow dry thermal heat protectant spray is chefs kiss along with either flat iron (hot tools/GHD). Esp if you spray a little on your hand and rub your hair after it helps with the static from this hot tools one and makes the hair so soft with either flat iron. If I ever find a really good deal/gently used priced GHD I will be extremely tempted to purchase it and put this hot tools one on the back burner. It’s worth $50. But you get what you pay for. It’s not perfect and there is better out there just sucks the better can feel/look cheaper but be way more expensive….giving it 4 stars because I’m 90% sold, my heart will miss the GHD 100%….Pro’s: affordable, long plates (1 1/4), beeps when ready, heats up very quickly, has multiple heat settings, has a locking clamp feature..Con’s: large/long flat iron (compared to GHD Orig.), heavier (than GHD Orig.), causing static in my hair, not as pin straight (compared to GHD Orig.) doesn’t give that great of curls coming from a flat iron…

Better than dyson
My wife returned the dyson and kept this one. She is in love with this product. Sometimes more expensive doesn’t mean better product.

Love it!
Heats up fast and keeps the temperature throughout entire use. I’ve had this brand before and they last for many years. Worth the purchase!
