The black ear-pieces were not very comfortable to me
The flat wire keeps it from being tangled in my purse or backpack. The black ear-pieces were not very comfortable to me, and so I removed them; I like that I was able to do so. That being said, quite a bit of stability is sacrificed when those pieces are removed. The weight of the earbuds is distributed unevenly because of the size of the volume control.I am also not very satisfied with the battery life. It can only sustain itself for a couple of hours per charge, and I cannot listen through the earbuds when they are charging. If I want to listen to music while exercising, doing housework, etc., I prefer one of the single-ear models that hook over the ear.
