Snapi Single Handed Server Ice

Q: Can someone tell me how to get the Snapi to open again once you've pressed in the button? Mine seems to want to stay closed

It shouldn't be like that, Sonja as my 2 Snapi's open easily when I press with my thumb on the top and the other finger's on the bottom on the ridges. I guess that little piece that pushes in to lock it closed is not functioning. I'm sure Snapi will replace it for you, send the company an email or call them.

Q: My snapi push button came apart and I can't figure out how to put it back together. And ideas?

I don't have it here at my home...I bought them for where I work...but I would imagine it works like a clothespin and there is a spring in the hinger area that is out of place and that's why the button came apart?

If it won't stay shut, why worry? I don't even try, I just store my Snapi in the salad bowl, open and ready to use.bfitz
