This book removes much of the mystery around transsexuals and causes you to really think about what is "normal". You see regular people with regular families and regular lives here. It gives a glimpse into the hopefully not too far future where everyone can be accepted in all areas of the workplace based in their skills and abilities without any stigma or judgement! This book, through photographs and short narratives, is about sharing, awareness, and acceptance. It works to break down mental and societal barriers as we step into what for many of us is an unfamiliar world.

I’m a huge Mark Seliger fan. And this book didn’t disappoint. The b&w portraits in this book are just stunning. The book is a nice size and the print quality is beautiful. It’s a book I’ve looked at over and over again. This is as good a personal photography project as you are likely to see.
