Great Vacuum hose for 2001 Ford Escape
Works on a 2001 Ford Escape. It is a direct replacement. The upper piece on my vehicle was cracked. Could not get this at any local store, so I found it on Amazon. Works great. My Check engine light is now off and the vehicle runs so much better.

FORD designed this weird piece that is segmented to three pieces. The piece fit ok

Collapses
Card failed smog because of old soft collapsed pcv hose. I bought this one it is very thin walled and collapsed under vacuum also. I put a piece of copper pipe in there to fix it but should not have to.

not the whole PCV tube that you need
This is just the upper section to the intake manifold.The lower part to the PCV valve is not included here.The other part is, Ford YL8Z-6A664-GA Hose - Vent, or GATES EMH172, both available on Amazon.I was disappointed to find this out and ended up having to use the older lower parts until I can get a new part.This part is good, and I got a returned part at a discount that was like new.I have had to mess with this twice already after initially installing a new PCV valve.Now will have to do it one more time to replace the lower piece.Still better than going to a dealer.

failed
I purchased this just over a year ago on oct 2018 and its march 2020. I do not know exactly when it failed bc not long after replacing many of my vacuum hoses it started having idle trouble again off and on and I didn't realize it was that hose bc I had thought "well its all new so it must be something else" well it wasn't I just figured it out a week ago and replaced it with a different "correct Hose" and now its fine and no issues with the idle. This Hose ended up collapsing just like the "OLD" one did when it failed but bc it was "OLD" this one was new and didn't really last a year. the car is a 2002 ford escape and the other hose was the original one when it was manufactured.
