I only used the main case, and not the extra but it worked great for my surface pro 4. It held the mouse and pen in the extra pockets. I have stopped using it though, because I have a bag that has a laptop pocket. It was too much trouble to get my surface in this case and in the bag, so I gave up and am just using my laptop bag now. This seems fairly protective but does not provide for a ton of padding. Luckily, I never dropped my surface though so I don't know how protective it is in reality.

I LOVE THIS CASE! I was looking for a case that I could carry almost like a "handbag or clutch" if you will, where I could carry my iPad (already in a keyboard case), my phone, earbuds, keys, small wallet, and reading-glasses and it still snaps easily, when I didn't want to carry my WHOLE purse or briefcase depending on the situation. This is GREAT when I'm going to the Dr. or somewhere I have to sit and wait and don't want to be carrying all the things loosely. The fact that It was so cheap was just a bonus. :)

Well made case. My iPad 2 air with apple cover fits with no issues. Very soft and offers good protection. My only feedback is that for me, I think I'd rather have a magnet button type close mechanism, as it requires 2 hands to close this case: you have to pull back the band and move the flap under. Of course that's obvious in the design, there's no false advertising of any kind, just the reality of the extra movement that the 2 hand process takes wasn't obvious to me when I got it.I think it looks really nice, I'm glad I didn't end up with one of the generic, plastic-y "leather" type cases that I see on Amazon.

Super nice case!! It's very durable, and it looks great, I have no shame of carrying this case around on its own. The pockets on the back of the case are pretty stiff, but at least i dont have to worry about my belongings falling out. I can fit my surface pro 3 in there and still have room for other papers and a small text book.

Fits well looks great and great to have on hyour iPad Pro when traveling using a briefcase or backpack. Plus it it light weight and adds added projection in a padded back acknowledgment.

I like the design of the case, but the outer pockets are pretty scratchy inside. The main compartment where the surface goes feels lovely ( extra soft to the touch), and it would be nice if the other pockets were the same. :)

Nice case. I used the 12" for a suface pro with a type cover. It's a tight squeeze but works and I expect will break in a little. I like they stylus holder on the outside since it won't fit in with the surface and I don't trust it wouldn't come off Even if it did.

I love this case! Its sturdy and works well as both protection and a stand.

A nice sleeve for your lovely iPad. You can keep your tab safe, without making it obese with all those crude flip covers and other stuff.The sleeve itself is quite posh to look at. And, once you whip out your iPad from it, lo.... you are the stud there.
