Great product, the same as the original

I bought these specifically to replace broken magnets on Plantation Shutters. They are the perfect size. A lot of the magnets that I found online have a wider/deeper body and don't fit as well on the frame of Shutters. I had to look through quite a few magnets offered online, but finally found these. They are the correct size and are a Great price!! Highly recommend!

I bought 60 shutter magnet units to replace all the broken ones on my vinyl shutters. After 10 plus years the plastic becomes brittle and you need to replace them. I looked for a few hours and these units match the design, holes for mounting the magnets were exactly the same dimension. Also the magnet strength was more than what I had. I removed all the screws that had been left behind from the broken plastic and cleaned the area. I screwed in the new magnets and replaced the metal on the shutter that holds it to the magnet. My wife helped me clean the area and our 30 year old vinyl shutters look new and work better than ever. A++++ seller

I thought these would be the perfect replacement for my cracked magnetic catches in my plantation shutters. I have no issues with the seller or the product itself. This wasn't a match to my existing hardware and I wished the measurements were disclosed on the website so I would not have to waste time returning it and amazon's resources shipping it to me.The magnets are strong but I need a bit more give in terms of the holes on the actual catch. It's just the way my shutters were installed. I didn't want to drill new holes and patch the old one. I was looking for something more plug and play.I give 5 stars for the value because you get 3 screws, a plate, and the magnetic catch itself. Using the original hole, I just can't get the magnet to catch on my shutter. Again, no fault of the product.At first, I ordered the 10 pack from MPJ and it was short. But looking at the picture of the 30 pack, I thought I struck gold and found an exact match to my existing hardware. The picture of the product is different but it's the same whether you buy the 10 pack or 30 pack.

These are the exact ones that are on my 24 year old plantation shutters . I live in Arizona and over the years the plastic housing has become brittle and broken due to the heat. I was pleased to find these replacements on Amazon.They were easy to replace since they fit where the old ones were. I imagine they will last another 24 years.

This products is as stated about 12 to 25 LbJ of strength.It arrived in time and we will buy it again.however it is different than what we had here for past 15 years.

This product is of good quality and it was very easy for us to replace our old broken plastic Hardware holding the shutters.

We ordered these to replace ones that came with our plantation shutters. Over time, the original magnets broke with use, and these magnets don't appear to be as heavy as the original ones. But, maybe they will last as long. Time will tell.
