It’s hard to use when you have full scope of soup. The oil and the soup mixed up together. Has to pour little by little. Takes time

Two spot welds per side
The spout (or, rather, the vertical separator) on this ladle is attached to the ladle bowl by four spot welds - two on each side, on the top and bottom of the side.Because each side is only attached in two places, there is a gap between the edge of the spout and bowl surface. This creates two crud traps, one on either side, and also creates a space where grease can leak through if it's deep enough.This is usable, but not at all ideal.
