I bought this as a non abrasive way to attach it a sports camera to my paddleboard. Most recommend gluing it to the board, but I am quite confident with it clipped to my front strap. The clip does exactly what it needs to do, and I would recommend this to anyone wanting something similar to why I wanted it.

A good way to secure an action camera to a variety of soft things, including backpack straps and, in my case, a soft handle on the tip of my kayak.I like that the base can rotate around, it makes it much more versatile, and the clamp is accetably tight.I mounted on mine a clip on gopro attachment, so I can take the camera on and off quickly without removing the clamp.I am nto sure if it secure enough for bumpy ride, for just walking around or attaching it to the kayak, I had not trouble.The current price of £6 is very good I think.

The media could not be loaded.  Took all of my 1 finger strength just to open it a bit, needs more fingers or the whole palm to open it all the way, and I'm really strong trust me this is a solid grip, will hook up to anything thin and flat. I use it for my backpack it clips and holds well, its very durable too but can't tell you yet how long it will last until it breaks, it is made ouit of hard plastic, it is not fully steel, but the spring inside it is so strong its something else. Good clip really for anything you fancy even around the house. Feels like it can last more than 15 years at leaast.

Back pack clip works well with any of the Gopros mounts as they use the same size screw, the clip pressure seems to hold it tightly on whatever you clip it on.However on a few occasions I forgotten about the mount; taken off my backpack; when putting backpack back on and knocked the camera to the floor.Let me paint you a picture: you spent hours climbing a picturesque Mountain, at the top you sit and take in the view, taking off the backpack to give your "back a break". You put on you backpack and the last thing you see is the clip tumbling down the mountain; never to been seen again. Not only you lose the camera, but you lost the memories.Maybe that put the "will it drop" thoughts in the back of my mind, would be nice to have some sort of chain as a backup anchor. ( I may just do that) I like the clip and I recommend this.Pros- Fits GoPros mounts- Strong grip pressure- Universal screw mountCons- Niggling "Will it drops" in the back of your mind- Would like a backup anchor of some kind

Yes, this clip works but, it’s not worth the price, in my opinion.Firstly, you don’t get any screws, or even a ball head, or anything, just the clamp, and you may betelling yourself, Ok but it’s only 6 quid, however, when you consider all the gear you can get in one of those mount bundles of 30 or more pieces of equipment, that also come with back pack mounts, you soon realise that this is just not worth it. If it had come with a few attachments or even a couple of screws then I would have considered that this was possibly worth it. but as it stands, it’s not that great and the manufacturing quality is definitely not as robust as that of original GoPro equipment.

This is a cool GoPro and similarly compatible camera clip that can be used to attach such cameras to backpack shoulder straps.✅ It’s well made with solid construction and materials with good quality control.✅ It feels pretty robust and like it will last.✅ We like the anti slip material inside the clip prevent the camera from moving keeping it steady and secured.✅ This is a lot more comfortable and flexible than our GoPro head strap mount - as we can use this without restricting head movement etc.We have not scored this 5 stars is we would like a better locking mechanism. To release you have to squeeze the clip to disengage - we are worried that we could squeeze the clip accidentally whilst adjusting our back pack etc. We think this would be perfect with an additional locking option that would prevent being able to disengage the clip.
