Useless
This book is useless. I am actually doing all the reading because I have to for a class, but it's a huge waste of time.Like the others said it's tons of questions with few answers. Maybe that's "the way you are supposed to learn PR" as my professor said. But the problem is most students won't even read this book. And I'll have to go else where or answers. The questions aren't even stimulating. And since there is maybe 35 questions per page it doesn't serve the Socratic method. A few questions with answers would. If you are a professor please do not make your students read this book. First of all, good luck getting them to. Second of all, refer to point one.Update: after forcing myself to read this book up until the mid term I finally gave up on it. I couldn't justice the waste of time that it is. I even talked to my professor abo it it and he admitted that he regretted chosing the book as well, and that it's terrible. So, all that to say don't get this book and if it's been assigned refer your professor to these reviews.

What are we paying for?
Worthless textbook. Absolutely worthless. To charge the price they do for this book should be a crime. Unfortunately, you likely are buying this for class, but let me reiterate that this book offers no guidance for the MPRE, and you would be better off snagging a free study guide off the internet. Advise your professors to avoid this book in your, "end of the year" reports, to hope others don't have to blow money for no reason other than to put it in the publishers wallet.

Completely unhelpful
This is an awful textbook. It poses a ton of rhetorical/hypothetical questions and then never answers them. It would be helpful to have at least general answers to those questions. It also takes the problem-based approach, which is hard to follow because it speaks in the form of examples instead of discussing the rules directly. I took the MPRE and this book was ho help.

ISBN is not the real ISBN
I purchased this book thinking it was the concise version that the image shows AND the version that corresponds to the ISBN that is listed...however they trick you into the University Case book series that they slide into the title. Don't be fooled!

I didn't feel like I was learning PR
It was a textbook for class. I really was not a fan of the book. It has a problem and explanation layout that was a little irritating to read. I didn't feel like I was learning PR. Wish me luck on the MPRE.

I would be nice if they included some general response to the answers
This book has a lot of questions but no answers. I would be nice if they included some general response to the answers!

Worse than useless
I almost never write reviews, particularly on textbooks. Simply stated, most textbooks are neither good, nor bad enough, to warrant the time and energy. That said, this book is truly the worst legal textbook I have ever encountered. The unending hypothetical questions following its hundreds of poorly written case explanations are extraordinarily distracting and light years away from being useful. Moreover, this edition is absolutely fraught with typos.I would try my hardest to transfer out of any class utilizing this textbook, as any professor who thinks this book is a valuable tool to learning legal ethics is as out-of-touch with modern pedagogy as this book's distracted authors.-Law Student
