Great product to use as secondary lights
Initially I ordered the two pack of these to try them out and after using them for two weeks, I decided to add four more to my apartment. The initial set up was a tad confusing, even for me who is generally very tech savvy and took longer than I originally anticipated. However once everything was set up it has been working great. Once I got the first two down the rest were a bit easier to set up.I would say these are not strong or bright enough as a main ceiling light unless you are using multiple although for me that was not an issue since I am mainly using them as secondary lights. I mainly use them in lamps and in a set up above my bed. As for use case, RGB makes anything possible so I am just going to say how I use them personally. For my living room which is not exactly huge, I like to have two on with one always being red, and the second as an accent color depending on the mood. Before this it was a battle between having the lights off watching TV and straining my eyes, having a regular white bulb in a lamp but still made some glare on the TV and not night friendly, or having the big ceiling light on which tends to throw me out of the Netflix and chill mood ya know? Anyway, having the nice red light in the background sets the mood and makes long movie and show viewing experiences more enjoyable. In the light fixture above my bed, maybe half an hour before bedtime I turn one red and one pink to help myself wind down and to help stop blue light but still have some light to get ready before finally settling in. Do I still look at my phone screen which negates my circadian rhythm? Guilty as charge but hey, this review is about the bulb and not about my life choices. I do find the white that these bulbs give out are a nice, even color and not blueish like some others. It also adjust to different color temperatures which change very quickly.Alexa integration has been great and was a smooth process to set up. You can do the basics of setting color, changing brightness, etc. and setting scenes if you spend the time to set it up. I do wish there was a community base of customer created scenes to choose from different from the few provided but that is definitely not a deal breaker. One of my favorite things is when Alex does her "Sorry I cannot connect to the internet right now", for the most part I still generally can go on the app and still make changes to the lights manually. You can pay more for brighter bulbs, but I would say for most people these will be more than fine once passed the initial set up phase and a very reasonable price especially if getting multiple without needing a hub.

Great Bulb with quick, easy installation; App is almost there...
I opened the box and had the first bulb connected and running in under five minutes. I've read about problems finding the 2.4G wireless, but even connecting to my Orbi system was seamless. The SmartLife app immediately identified the bulb and added it. I then renamed it (to front porch) and put it outside. It immediately connected to the app and has had no issues. All but one of the bulbs immediately connected through the automated system in the app. The fourth bulb took three tries to connect, which means that it took nearly six minutes from start to setup complete for that one bulb. I have another brand of bulb that would not automatically pair with the wifi, so I had to manually connect them through my phone and the app.The app provides great control for white temperature and dimming. These bulbs dim to a VERY low level. Colors are also very bright and accurately portrayed in the app. I like being able to group bulbs together for timers or color changes, but would like to see more flexible schedule programming like a sunrise/sunset option with customizable before/after timing (e.g., turn on 37 minutes before sunset, turn off 15 minutes after sunrise or at whatever time I program).Linking to Google Home was also very easy. The Google Home App recognized the bulbs through the SmartLife App. It just requires a few intuitive screen taps through the Google app and you have voice control up and running. Colors within the voice control are already preset, so you can just tell the assistant to 'set porch light to warm white' or 'turn the porch light blue' and it works.Despite the shortcoming of timer programmability in the app, the bulbs still work great, are easy to set up and stay connected. Oh, and you can get a notification if someone accidentally turns the light switch off and the bulb is disconnected, which is no problem because the bulb retains the configuration and settings.

A good set of bulbs, but sometimes, inconsistent.
I bought a 4 pack of bulbs. I was able to get 3 of them working without any issue, but the 4th one I couldn't get to connect at all after several tries. The setup is a little convoluted. You install the application, you screw in the bulb, you flick the light on and off until it blinks, and then you proceed to the setup portion which includes the WiFi setup. If it fails the first time through the WiFi setup, which it did on 2 of the bulbs I had, it will go to a secondary setup, where you have to turn the bulb on and off again until the bulb blinks more slowly. One of the two bulbs that had an issue was able to work during this additional setup step. The last bulb I had just would not connect, no matter if I put it in the same light fixture and used the same information as one that was currently working. No doubt it was likely defective, but I set it aside and may try again at a later date as I didn't really have any place to put it right away anyways. The Alexa integration was fairly simple, in the application you can select to either connect it to Alexa or Google Home. When you tap on which one you want it will ask you to install the integration piece, and once that is done, these show up in the Alexa app for a quick and easy integration. The bulbs themselves aren't particularly bright. They will certainly light up a corner really well, but even in my smallest rooms, in an overhead fixture, they aren't bright enough to be utilized without any alternative light sources. They are definitely worth it in corner lamps or bedside tables. The colors work well, and I feel like the mixture of colors these display are better than some of the other alexa enabled bulbs out there. I have another set of bulbs from a different manufacturer, and these display more rich purples and blues to me.All that being said, these are a good buy for the price. They may not be the perfect choice, depending on your room configuration, and the one bulb I have that failed is not a good sign, but I've seen more expensive bulbs that faired worse.

Nice and Bright Smart Lights
I've had these lights installed for a few months now and so far they are working great. I use them with the Google Home app and control with my voice most often. One thing to note is that they do not work with a dimmer switch which I learned the hard way. You will need a regular on/off light switch. Other than that I would highly recommend as they are much cheaper than other brands and do the same thing.

easy set up
After we split our wi-fi to 5 and 2.4 GHz, we had the hardest time to find smart light bulbs that would connect. I got this one thinking if wi-fi didn't work, I could still try bluetooth, but the wi-fi connection works great! Each bulb took less than 30 second to connect. Linking to Alex was a bit tricky, but it took eventually.

Good Light
Good bulb. Colors are a bit weak but OK. Had a bit of an issue getting Alexa to recognize them but all good now.

Great gift
I have many smart home devices, but over the holidays I got these smart bulbs for my parents. They absolutely love using their voice to change the lights! It makes their life more convenient and they still chuckle every time it works.

controller dies before bulb, can't turn lights on if internet is down
After about 6 months of regular use the lights start flickering white. This has happened to me for multiple bulbs on separate purchases. That means the bulb didn't have a chance to burn out before the controller failed. To make matters worse, whenever you change your lights it's first bouncing off a server outside your home. That's really cool when you want to change your lights from another location, but it's very inconvenient when the internet goes out (you can't turn the lights on), and it provides an insane amount of data about your daily routine to the owner of that server.
