Schlage F10 V GEO 605 Georgian Door Knob, Hall & Closet Passage Lock, Bright Brass

I replaced a door knob on walk in closet with this one after getting locked in my closet with an old non-Schlage lock. It opens smoothly and was very easy to install. I prefer Schlage over any other door hardware.

It was easy

It functions which is better than what the last knob did. That friggin' thing fell apart in around 6 months, this one? Who knows. It fits, it turns, the little metal bar thingie moves in and out so the door opens. I have no idea what will happen 6 months from now.I'm learning banjo during the COVID lockdown, I suggest that you do too! It's a great and underappreciated instrument and there is a lot of free, online support and tabulature for you to try. I suggest using the .tef format and software that lets you play along with the tef.If you purchase this knob you will have a knob so there is that.

Ordered this to replace a broken knob on our pantry door. This arrived the next day and looked great. All of the parts were well made and I expect it to last as long as the house itself.Installing the new knob took less than 10minutes. I'm seriously considering ordering more to replace other knobs throughout the house, it looks that good and was that easy to install!

Works fine, but took some finessing to get the slide mechanism to work without terrible binding. Probably got out of whack during shipping. Was able to get it so it worked. There's two internal pieces that rotate (to retract latch), and they should NOT line up in the same axle opening.

Favorite brand. I use this handle with Schlage keypad deadbolt on all rental houses. Sturdy and looks nice. No more locking yourself out!
