See You Around, Sam!

Once again Lois Lowry is right on point. Humor about Sam going to Alaska, mysteries like is baby Kelly a boy or a girl, and pure family love. I aka 4th grader and I give this book two thumbs up!👍

I bought this for my 7 year old grandson because his name is Sam. He loves it and so does his 10 year old brother and his mom. Great series.

See You Around Sam is about a boy named Sam who almost runs away from home to Alaska. The story takes place in a small country town in the Fall of the 1950's. In the end, Sam goes home to see his family and friends because misses them.

保育園で友達からプラスチックの牙をもらったSamは大満足。牙をつけると、まるで自分がドラキュラになったみたいで、かっこいい。でも、お母さんから「家では、牙禁止」と言われたものだから怒って、「それなら家出してやる、行く先はセイウチの住むアラスカだ！！」Samの気持ちがとてもよく伝わってきます。牙をつけたり、ポケットにしまったりを繰り返しているうちに、だんだん変は味、変な感じになってくるところなど、読み手の口の中までおかしくなってきそうです。サムの気持ちを傷つけずに上手に見守っていく周りの大人たちの連携プレーがお見事！こんな暖かいご近所さんたちに囲まれて、のびのびと大きく育ってね、Sam！Samが主人公なので、Anastasia（Samのお姉さん）が主人公のシリーズよりも、英語は易しめで読みやすかったです。fangとtuskの違いなどアメリカ人でも混同してしまうのかとおもしろかったです。
