I must be Wahcko
Tried too many to count...But here goes. Crybaby (Classic/535q/Cantrell) Full-time Clyde Deluxe, Real McCoy Wizard and Picture, Budda, Vox Big BaD Wah, Vox (845/846/847) , Xotic Wah, Ibanez Weeping Demon, Carl Martin Wah and I think I'm exhausted mentally from thinking if I missed a few which I did but you get the point. Oh the latest Area 51 (fully loaded) some boast RF resistant circuity. Some wah adjustable, others fuzz friendly. So behind the wah I have a Bombastortion (incredible) Dover Drive and jrocket 45 caliper. OK so the good stuff... I was freaking out. The plain box (thank you Chicago Music Exchange for the pick and goody bag. Very professional.) The Jam Box was not where they spend the money. Instead you open it to a nice purple clothe bag. A goodie bag with torque wrench for tension (in which I felt was perfectly set from the factory) and a pick. The finish was not only the best looking Wah I owned but flawless. The weight was heavy about twice the weight of my Area 51. This pedal was built to last and feels it. No other wah I mentioned except the Teese was as solid. Still that never felt right. It's action smooth. Stays in place. OK so I will compare a little before I get into the sound. I live close to a radio station. Every Crybaby, well let's say I can hear the talk show clearly) Somewhat thin for all in comparison. Vox never lasted the hour except the Big Bad Wah which was not well constructed as the paint peeled and the wah became very squeaky after a few months. Xotic not sure why the hype, again most bled through. Even the Reese Wizard which sounded nice. Lasted several months. Just a love hate relationship. So my Area 51 replaced the Cantrell and Big Bad Wah. This was a tough one. It has many features. Easy to engage (one of the best) the Blue light on the side perfect (for me at least) I can imagine on stage if you approached from the right you might not see it if your not looking from directly above. The sound is where it falls short. Good but can be tough to dial in.Enter Jam Pedals zero noise. Cool just like the Area 51. The Plus version is the must...the multi switch version is like having several wah sounds. Like the Crybaby 535q (Which is one of their best IMO.) So take that pedal put it on steroids. Refine it. Build it perfectly. Now enchance it. Put a bright red LED on the top (still prefer the side hint hint JP) there are a few videos. You have a distinct sound to this wah. I am impressed. It works perfectly with all my pedals. Try it. You have too. No you can't have mine.

The most beautiful and best sounding Wah I ever heard and played. That's it. The rest is pure music.
