Mr. Jones Meet the Master: Sermons and Prayers of Peter Marshall Paperback – Import, 1 January 1987

A friend of mine at church lent me a copy of this book and it was so good that I had to buy my own to keep! I imagine I will be re-reading it many times in the future. It's extremely well written in a lovely style and the messages are moving and thought-provoking. I can't praise this book highly enough and would encourage anyone with an open-mind to faith to read it and enjoy!

What an amazing collection of thoughtfully and powerfully written sermons! Peter holds your attention throughout with his skilfully crafted words. These sermons are still relevant in today's world, if it wasn't for the occasional reference giving away their age they could easily have been written right now.

Peter Marshall was the chaplain to the US Senate, and as such, he had the ability to communicate well with all manner of people. This book of sermons is not 'churchy' or complex. A very good read.
