Do the job
I have used these on a variety of projects. They are heavy duty and are like having an extra set of hands to keep wood in place. The slides could be a little smoother, but other than that no complaints.

This clamp saved my family heirlooms
I lost my job almost 3 years ago and had to put a 3 bedroom house into non-climate controlled storage while I lived like a homeless person for a year in a room and then a year in a slum. When I finally took out the maple chairs that were passed down to me recently, the seam had split on the seats of them from the Texas summer heat or winter cold. God bless Jorgensen! My wooden clamp from a woodworking course years ago still had a stamp on it. I googled the brand and bought a bigger clamp to go from side to side so that the glue could dry while the chair was fixed. The clamp was incredibly affordable and arrived quickly. I am now sitting on my family heirlooms. I love Jorgensen and Amazon!

Solid clamp
Solid, well bit clamp. They are heavy and can apply a lot of force. Will be replacing my cheaper clamps.

made in the USA?
have used these clamps since the 70's - I prefer to find the older ones at flea markets, garage sales, etc as they older ones are made better. These say they are made in the USA - as I do not purchase items that is made in China, the clamps even have a "USA" stamp. But I have since learned that a lot of corporations realize consumers are looking for the USA symbol and just put it on there even though it was made in China, it might have been "assembled" in the USA because the USA no longer manufactures anything. either way, I needed some 24's for an end table I was building and so purchased these, I prefer Jorgensen clamps have used them over 40 years, I am just questioning any corporation's claim of "made in the USA".

Still Working After 10 Years
I bought 8 of these clamps for my first carpentry project 10 years ago. I built a few cabinets and wall hung book shelves with them. In the past 7 years, I built a bed, a work bench, numerous small projects and these clamps are still working great. One word of advice is these clamps do bent with they are over tightened. They do not need to be tighten so much to hold the pieces in place. Once should always use a scrap piece of wood to separate the clamp orange rubber and the finish wood. This increase the bearing area and protect the finish wood. I was a novice and found that while the orange rubber does not leave any marks on the finish wood, the contact areas stain differently. In general, these are great clamps!

Warning - Not Labeled "Made in USA" anymore...
I own a few of the old style Jorgensen clamps with wood handles and they were labeled "Made in USA". The clamps that I received were nothing like shown in the picture and are NOT labeled made in USA. The handles are cheap plastic and rubber as shown in my uploaded pictures. The quality of the clamps appears similar to my old style clamps and I will be using them soon, so we will see if these 'imported' clamps stand up to the durability and precision of the old clamps. At the moment I can't comment on the actual quality of the clamps so they will stand at 3 stars because they were nothing like shown in the pictures. I may increase or decrease my rating based on how these clamps perform.
