Update: I've bought the cable twice since the first one turned out great until my cat decided to chew through it. I wasn't so lucky with my next cable. The next one I bought had audio issues; the seller responded quickly and sent me a replacement. The replacement cable also had the same issues with the audio cutting in and out. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this cable. Everything else about the cable is great, but if the audio doesn't work, the product is useless.First impressions:Note: I'm only on day 2, so these are early impressions. Finally! A well-made, third-party cable for my Shures. Very nicely designed, tangle-free chord. The connector is relatively flat. The buttons work well (just can't get it to go to a previous track -- volume, next, pause/play all work). Highly recommended.

I liked the flat cable since it doesn't take up much room in the earbud pouch. This is my third pair and this set lasted 18 months. The sound quality seemed very good to me on my Shure SE215. Looks like the price on thse more than doubled, so I will try a different brand/model.

These cables are a should buy item for those who need replacements or are looking for a mic on their Shure SE model headphones.Personally my original use for my SE-315'S was as an in-ear monitor for music perfomances, so a microphone adapter with play-pause and volume didn't mean much. Later on however I busted my original cable and a second before I stopped using my Shure's as I didn't want to keep paying ~$30 for replacement cables.Then I discovered these cables. They fit perfectly and give me great quality, aand the flat cord which is a plus in tangle management.All that aside, the customer service is great, communication is consistent and thorough.At the end of the day, I will be using these cables as my replacement, likely for a long while.

These are the best and only earphone cables I could possibly find without memory wire. For 7$ they are most certainly worth the price, and work exceptionally at the gym. They work well, and I would agree with another reviewer, that they do have occasional microphonics, which can be grating for an audiophile, but they are sparse and light when they do occur. The cables are lightweight and very comfortable with my UE900's. My only caveat is that one of the cables I ordered is missing the two volume buttons, but two triple flange earphone tips are included, and I find that nice, even though I personally do not need them. I am disappointed to hear that Akash is closing, and I wish them luck in their future endeavors.

For the price these cables are great, a set lasts me about a year which I'm fine with because I'm fairly tough on them. I much prefer these to the stock cable because they are so much lighter

Completely garbage. Within two weeks this cord started malfunctioning. Now a slight twist of the head activates Siri or scrubs music in double time, or some other random action. Stay away from 3rd party cables I guess. Buy Shure branded only

Looks great, looks well-made. But controls did not work at all. Contacted seller directly about problem, per email asking for feedback and review, but got no response. Also, don't stay behind the ears any better than the optional Shure cable with mic and controls.

Just received these cords and they are junk! Constant music turning off or Siri being activated. The controls are too high and almost sit behind my ear instead of down by my collar. All-in-all, would not recommend at all.
