Briggs just took hold of my heart from the very beginning. I could tell in book 1 that he was broken, but this book just flayed my chest open for him. Maddison & Briggs were made for each other. I loved how each of them grew to be better people in their own ways.After losing trust in his brother and another scandal hits the media, Briggs heads to the lake to escape. Enter Maddison, who is also struggling. Deciding to be strangers for the weekend turns in Olive 9 months later. They have to navigate feelings, secrets and become new parents together. Truly a great book.

Briggs is a n NHL player and he is growing through some very tough things in life which has caused him to spiral. Since he is in the lime light everything is dragged through the media. One specific media source, The Puck Bunny, has made him hate the media. He takes off to a bed and breakfast for a weekend to relax and get away from all that is happening. There he meets Maddison. During this weekend stay they start to fall in love but agree to not share too much information about themselves. Maddison left Briggs with just an “I’m sorry” note. He searched for her for a full year only to bump into her in an unexpected place. When he bumped into her he was so excited…only to find out she is pregnant, with his baby.I thought this was a cute second chance romance. Bad boy Briggs has a heart of gold, he is so compassionate, caring, and loving. After everything he went through he deserved a happy ending! The way he loves Maddison is so sweet. He is the kind of guy you want to love you! This is a feel good romance with a HEA!

Oh man. There are secrets and then there is the secret that Maddison kept. This book did not take the turns I thought it would and I loved that the author kept me surprised.Briggs has had some troubles and I love that we got to see him turn his life around. There were some really heartaching things that happened and those made me love Briggs more. He was thrown into something exactly as it happened and just went with it. Maddison… that girl had a hard time admitting how she felt and the confessing to her secret. But her grand gesture was perfect.Im so ready to know more about Graham in the next book.

It was so cute and oh my goodness Briggs and Olive have my whole heart! The only thing wrong is pacing around some of the major conflict points, the stuff with Conrad happened so fast it felt glossed over, and while I fully believe moving on doesn’t require a reconnection or even forgiveness, they focused on Beau too much for the closure to be just with the dad.

STB gives us all the answers- and then some. And turns out the only secret that comes Briggs way isn’t just the identity of the sassy blogger that’s been a thorn in his side- we also have a surprise, secret baby…and DADDY BRIGG IS EVERYTHING. My ovaries just exploded and I popped out quadruplets- because he’s just that delicious as a devoted, protective, and loving unexpected dad.We have a few twists, some SUPER sexy and sweet steamy times, and a whole lot of that characteristic Maren Moore heartfelt and swoony chemistry. Together they are a messy and adorable pair- two people just trying to figure out their way after their own, and others’, choices have caused them to get a little bit lost. A chance encounter inspires and centers them and cements a bond that only flourishes once they are serendipitously drawn back together and find themselves in a beautiful, but unexpected partnership. Even though our leading lady has been harboring a secret, you can’t help but fall in love with her sweet and playful spirit. And Briggs- hands down my favorite Maren man. HE IS PERFECT- a total dreamboat hero and father that is easy to love, and a dirty talking alpha who melts your panties. Maren has such an effortless propensity in writing leading men that sweep you away with their charm and big teddy bear hearts- men with a little edge, but a whole lot of love, and when they find their special lady, they don’t hold back. And cue all the swoony, sweet, feel good butterflies.The hockey uncles and baby Olive TOTALLY steal the show. We get cameos from all our favorites and we get tons of time with our hockey heroes to come, including the delightfully goofy and and endearingly sincere rookie Graham, whom I’m already madly in love with. What a fun and captivating world Maren has built in the Totally Pucked series- I can’t wait for more!

The first chapter…I really thought that lil boy and his foster dad situation would be a huge part in Briggs story, I thought he would rescue him and that the book would be centered around him. The lying and withholding in this book dragged on far too long for my liking. I do recommend it as a good read it just could have been better….it could have been more. And I say it with every Maren book I read so….I absolutely detest her abrupt endings and unanswered plot holes.I wanted to hear about why Gramms raised our little puck bunny. Where were her parents? Did Briggs family ever reconnect because that is a huge part of his issues. Please Maren for the love of all good books give us answers to the burning questions, and stop ending the book the very second boy gets girl. Clearly we NEED MORE!!!!I have heart palpitations and blood pressure spike over this I just know it.

This is an amazing book!! I loved Briggs in the first book. But I love him even more in this one. The chemestry between him and Madison! This is a surprise pregnancy and I love the way they both handle the surprise! There are a few bumps along the way, but I am so glad they got their HEA.

God! This book!!I love it! Her secret was eating me alive! I was screaming in my head for her just to tell him!! They worked so well together and I was so sad with his family. He’d gone through something really bad, the feeling of betrayal ran deep with him, so I could understand, although I was annoyed, why she kept for so long.His reaction was expected but they grew so much in those months, that shouldn’t be erased by a mistake.Her groveling made my heart ache so bad, I could tell how deeply sorry she was and it was clear even if we hadn’t had her POV, that she didn’t do it for cruelty, she was just lost.But I loved really!!

Oh I loved Briggs and Madison’s story. This series is so beautiful and I love that you get to still read about the past history of the other players. I cannot wait for Graeme’s book. You will need tissues close by for this story.

Briggs is a star athlete known for his quick temper, his love of the ladies and his brother sleeping with his fiancée. It doesnt help when everything is on the media with a writer making sure everyone knows his business. He is a caring man and trust is really important to him and so he keeps his friends close. He goes on a break and meets up with Maddison as its her grandmas hotel and they enjoy each others company. They have a night together which results in a baby that he doesnt know about becasue of something his agent did. Briggs does everything to put it right when he finds out and he falls for Maddison in a big way. There are big problems ahead though and its whether he can fix things.

I have been desperate for Briggs story and it was worth the wait! I was completely hooked from the very first page!Briggs has trust issues after being betrayed by the people that should have always had his back! Because of this Briggs has a bit of a reputation for getting himself into bother. He never seems to be away from the news and The Pucked Bunny can't help reporting on the latest to rock Briggs world - so he decides to escape and whilst he is escaping runs into Maddison........literally!Maddison needs a break from school and work, and after having fallen out with her friend heads to the one place she can always escape to, her Grandma's B&B - what she doesn't except to happen is fall for this quiet, broody guy!Their chemistry is instant but after one amazing night Maddison disappears until nearly 9 months later when both their worlds change. Briggs may be the teams bad boy but when  it comes to his girls he is a complete teddy bear!Special mention has to go to Briggs team mate Graham who lit up the pages every time he appeared! I need his story tomorrow!I loved Briggs and Maddison and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

It frustrates me when authors don't have their characters discuss or consider contraception and STIs before having sex. I've no problem with the accidental baby scenario but at least let it be due to failed contraception!!Book is not particularly well written with some errors and missing words. Maddison seems nice but then that doesn't really fit with her work personality- THE puck bunny. Briggs has clearly been an idiot but is already turning his life around before he becomes a dad and totally falls in love with baby Olive.
