Charles River Pack-n-go Wind & Water-resistant Pullover (Reg/Ext Sizes)

If you owned a anorak from L.L. Bean back in the late 80's or early 90's and need a replacement after all these years, this is an excellent option. The current version anorak at L.L. Bean has changed and is too fitted and uses a different weight fabric. Nothing like the originals.I searched far and wide and decided to give this product a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very lightweight, which makes it usable for longer times of the year. Lots of color options and sizes. I like mine roomy to layer during the winter. This is the best replacement option I have found for the original L.L. Bean anorak, which lasted over 30-years of wear for me. I'm not sure how long these will last at the lighter weight, but at the price I'll be happy if it makes it to 20-years. Definitely a good value for the price.

Color: RoyalThe windbreaker is wonderful, just took it on a cruise in May & it was perfect; I love everything 1/2 zip. The length is great and love the underarm grommets allowing circulation. The pockets are great, especially the large zip pouch. Perfect when I want to skip the handbag; plenty of room for my keys, phone, wallet, glasses, sea-pass, etc. Perfect fit, i went up a size as I like them roomy. I love this particular brand, I have in black (bought a yr ago) & now blue; I’m sure I’ll be ordering another color, maybe green or red.

Jacket is as described. Fits inside front pocket. White color is transparent so keep that in mind. You definitely have to have a shirt under it. Material is very thin.

I am a big man and this jacket fits me well. It has plenty of room and it is well made and comfortable to wear! The color is bright and vibrant and the water repellent feature works well making it the perfect everyday jacket in spring and fall! I love this product and will definitely buy again!

It is perfect but I had to exchange it 3 times to get the right size. I wear a woman’s medium and ended up with the xs.

The windbreaker is wonderful. I love the length and the fact that it has 2 pockets in the front. I’m able to zip my keys and phone in one and the the other one I can put my hands in. Perfect fit.

I normally purchase my outdoor gear from LL Bean or Bass Pro, so using Amazon for this kind of thing is a first for me. Seems all the major companies are buying from outside the US, so I figured I might as well try this one. It's made int the United Arab Emirates...go figure.Anyhow, about the product. The fit is a bit smaller than what I would have liked. In the photos I'm wearing a Tee and a merino wool top. I was hoping to be able to layer under this, but...it's all good. I could maybe wear a thin coat and not be too uncomfortable.Based on my first wear in a light rain, it keeps the water off (way better than the Bean version) and it's packable(like the Bean version). It has air holes under the arms so you don't get too hot. It's comfortable, but a little noisey for still hunting(if you're into that, I'm still gonna give it a go).Only thing I can complain about is the pockets seem to open a bit of their own accord and they get a little water running into them. Kind of a bummer, but I've dealt with worse.I would buy this product again, but I get a bigger size.Edit 19 May 2023Did a test the other day. We had a good Midwestern storm come through, heavy rain and some winds. I stood in the rain until my pants were pretty wet. When I went back in the house and took the anorak off, my shirt was completely dry. Loving this anorak a bit more now.

I wear windbreakers everyday. This one is great. If I could change 1 thing it would be zippered slots instead of just slots. But the big zipper pouch will suffice.

Jacket seems great. Will mainly be using for those windy, cold fishing days. The jacket came in a see through plastic bag with an Amazon sticker on it. Easy pickings for porch pirate's. Thankfully someone was home when it arrived. It's why I gave it 4 stars.

La utilizo para cuando voy al entrenamiento en la alberca, ya que ha bajado un poco la temperatura es ideal para la entrada y salida del agua. Ligera y al doblarla se hace muy pequeña cabe bien en la mochila.

De buena calidad, horma muy bién al cuerpo. Adecuada para ambos sexos. Sugerencia: pedir una talla más chica a la que usamos. Para mi solicite talla chica y me quedo muy bién, olgada, no apretada. Rompevientos muy útil
