Once assembled, it's a cute 3-shelf piece. However, assembly, which should have been very easy, was very difficult. The top shelf was very easy. The other shelves were very, very difficult. One of the phillips screws had a burr which made it impossible to screw into the shelf. NONE of the screws could be started in any hole with the two washers. So I ended up assembling it without washers or lock washers. One option would be to take the shelf to a hardware store and get longer screws.

It is a nice, heavy shelf, but who ever made the product evidently didn't go by a diagram. The holes for the screws did not line up on the top shelf and I could only put screws on either side leaving part of the top only held together by two screws on each side instead of four. This made the shelves not line up properly so they had to be forced into position in order to screw them in place. Hopefully the table will stay together since it won't be moved very much. What a shame it could have gotten a lot better rating if it could have been put together properly. Someone needs to look at the manufacture and see whats going on. Made in China!

The style and design of the piece is as pictured and described. However, the legs are not powder-coated as advertised; they are randomly- brushed with silver paint. The "marble laminate" shelves are actually plastic pieces laminated with paper printed in a marble pattern and covered in a clear coat of acrylic. I don't know how well all of these parts will hold up in a humid bathroom environment. Glad I got this one on sale as I think it is not worth the usual full asking price.

I've gotten a lot of compliments on this small shelf. It is the perfect size for the spot I put it in. We live in the New Orleans area so it goes well in my home. From a couple of feet away the marble even looks real. If I had the space I would repurchase in the larger size also. I did not have any problems putting it together either as some reported. I did not fully tighten any of the screws though until they were all halfway in place because of the warnings.

Make sure the grey color of the Home Styles Orleans 3-tier shelf legs and shelf works for you. I tried to return the shelf since it didn't match my off- white bathroom and it wouldn't fit back in the box because it came very tightly packed. So if you buy it you keep it. (My civil engineer husband couldn't even get just the styrofoam it was packed in back in the box.)

This shelf was very easy to put together and it is very secure and doesn't wobble. It's not real marble (covered board) but it still looks nice and adds character. We added it to our bathroom for storage. It doesn't have any screws or hardware showing, which I can't stand, and the dimensions are exactly as advertised. It's little and perfect for small empty spots. We've had no issues with our humid bathroom either.

So glad I finally found a bathroom shelf unit small enough for my bathroom! And it looks very nice. This is the perfect size, exactly what I needed and it was very simple to put together. Love it!
