Was trying to run HDMI over Cat6 cable with an extender box. Tried multiple cables, the manufacturer kept saying it was my cables, that were bought pre-made. Bought this tester and my wires were fine that I had bought. With the crimper, I made and tested my own Cat6a wire run. They had to send me a new unit. The new wires and crimper made it easy to make the wires and made sure everything tested good.

Saved me a TON of up/down ladders and stairs. Used for the first IDing 16 CAT5&6 hidden (run by someone else and unmarked) cables. Same story for RG6. Wish I'd bought this year's ago. Highly recommended.

This was excellent for a recent cabling project. I got the version with the numbered ends to use to find unlabeled cables, something all to common in our facility, unfortunately. It's not a cable certifier, but it's certainly very effective in making sure the cables are terminated properly, located well, and are of a proper length.

This is a great kit, just be aware that the tone generator shuts off after 45 minutes

Great tools for the price. The toner doesn’t tone or pick up sound after about 200 ft. Says 1,000 in description . Klein should uograde this and let it have an sd card reader and the machine certify connections. Fluke is only brand that has this and they charge 3,000 . So come in Klein

I Wish Klein was not so expensive, but this is a great product. everything works fine and is sturdy.

This device saved me much more than it cost. I am able to resolve connection issues faster
