Perfection!
Wow wow wow !!!Jeez I love cake , I love Dylan James .........and combined together well holy hell its the perfect recipe for a brilliant book !!!This story had me reading through the pages furiously fast I didn't want to stop reading because I didn't want to be released from the books magical spell. When I say magical spell I mean literally I was under a haze of decadent passionate captivity. We meet Beth a recovering alcoholic that's getting her life back on track and certainly doesn't need any complications.Meet Dylan (the complication) he's a head strong, fast talking sexy CEO that usually gets what he wants. He wants Beth. However usually he not affected by women he loves and leaves them but this woman has got under his skin.I love this book. The way Louise Bay tackled the issue regarding to Beth's alcoholism was perfect, it gave the issue awareness without glamourising it for fiction purposes. Perfect just perfect!I can't wait to read more of this authors work.

Louise's best yet!
I loved this book, so much so that I read it in one sitting, really couldn't put it down. The characters are so believable and I actually felt their connection. It wasn't just words on a page, I felt their love. I felt her insecurities, his fear of losing her and the author dealt with both emotions in a realistic way. The book didn't overplay or drag out either of these characteristics and was true to itself. I loved the way the storyline threaded in seamlessly with previous books and particularly commendable is the way the author dealt with the issue of alcoholism. It was sensitive, realistic and in keeping with the storyline, showing how, with love and support the illness can be overcome. I've loved all of Louise's books so far, but for me this is the best yet and I would love to read more about Beth and Dylan. I enjoy the way Louise gets to the point and doesn't drag things out and I love that the secondary characters in the book keep the main characters grounded. Brilliant Louise, just brilliant!

“Cake and orgasms – life didn’t get much better than that.”
Dylan and Beth! I adored them!Beth is an alcoholic. She’s been sober for a few years but she’s never had sober sex. She started baking to focus on something else. Her baking leads her to her home city of Chicago. On the flight back to London, she meets Dylan. Broody, serious, gorgeous Dylan, who turns out to be dirty-talking, downright sexy Dylan!Dylan was jilted years ago and now plays the field. Beth’s vulnerability and honesty hooks him in, and his possessiveness and tenderness of feeling for her surprises him, but doesn’t deter him from pursuing her. They both want transparency in their relationship but Dylan is hiding a secret that could break Beth’s trust. This book was seriously hawt! The chemistry between them was incandescent, and the ingredients of cake, sex and orgasms really worked for me! One of my new favourite reads from this author!**I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

romance and cake, quite the combination!
This is the first book I've read by this author and I really enjoyed it. I thought Dylan was going to be a bit too cocky and overbearing at the start, but once we saw through the barriers he'd raised, he really was very sexy and caring with a good amount of cocky and humour. Beth also had her barriers, but it was great to see their relationship grow and solidify after their extremely steamy initial meeting. I also love the way that Beth was a beautiful, sexy, curvy girl, not afraid to eat a lot of cake. Yum, the things you can do with cake ;-) I would recommend this and will definitely be reading more from this author.

Sexy, Emotional and Brilliant!!!!!
I love all of Louise's books and this one was no exception. Mr 8A.......well what can I say, I'll be flying first class from now on! He's just the perfect package! Beth is a great character and I loved her from the start, she's so strong but yet so vulnerable. I loved how their relationship started and how they grew as individuals and as a couple. I've read every single book from this fabulous author so far and can't wait to read more!
