I have loved reading poetry my whole life, but it is very rare for me to be excited about reading a poetry book.This poetry book brings about yearning and aching, remembering and trying desperately to forget. This is one of the best poetry books I have had in a very long time. The book is comprised of eighteen poems with a very unique touch to every poem.Poem: Childhood rooms and Butterflies"We would pretend to be cookswith plastic toy pans and stoves,serve a feast to my mother in the dining roomask what she wanted for lunch today..she was never quite sure what to say"The author takes human emotions and describes them in such an eloquent and precise manner that each poem I experienced in this book was real.The readers can be able to taste various flavors and emotions through the poems and can relate too. The book has some beautiful graphics along with it, the cover is very attractive and eye-pleasing.I highly recommend "Of sea-songs and bellyaches" to all my poetry lovers and even to those casual poetry readers.

This book contains poems that are very relatable with our daily life's thoughts and confusion. Written in easy and simple words some poems are deep but some are shallow. If you are a beginner it will be a nice easy book to start with. It's not only about reading the beautiful verses but finding yourself in those simple and easy expression of words and feel certain emotions that got covered with dust.

They entranced me and made me feel i am not alone. My absolute favourite piece was Rock bottom, it just hit me hard!I would be needing with book within reach so I can reread the some poems again and relive the experiance.
