SunShield Outdoor Wax

I have 20 - 12x12x10 foot tall raw wood columns inside and outside our home that need periodic "moisturizing". This stuff is great! My wife loves the smell, orange scent, and I love the "ease" of application. Ha, wax-on, wax-off as Mr. Miyagi would say. I used a lambs wool applicator, squirt some wax on it and then rub it into the wood. It's a good workout but well absorbed into the wood. I'm still waiting to see how the UV protectant works on the exterior columns. Also used it on some cutting boards and wooden pot handles. Those had to be wiped down after several hours. Have ordered more.

My front door is wood and gets a lot of direct sun. This wax adds lots of moisture, restores wood and cleans as well.

Our Howard Sunshield wax was delivered at 2:45pm and by 3:30pm we had treated our front door and it looks incredible. We had not treated our wood door in 8 years and a few days prior we cleaned the door so when the product arrived we applied it and we are ecstatic about the results. Our door was a bit dry and still we only used 1/5 of one of the 3-bottles we purchased. We now will apply the Sunshield wax every 6-months to maintain a beautiful finish.

I used this on my nearly 100 year old front door. I didn’t notice much of a difference in terms of looks but I’m sure it will help the lifetime of my door. I only put on one coat so far so that may be why it doesn’t look much different. I plan to add another coat and also apply this to my other wood furniture to extend lifetimes. Good product and easy to apply
