Powder form of lubricant to be used with water.

I want a product that I can trust but "proprietary" ingredients cannot offer that kind of assurance.
The media could not be loaded. I don't like that this product has unknown ingredients and the fact that the company that sells it is unwilling to provide details regarding what the exact ingredient contents are within the product. Namely, I want to know what the names of the preservatives are that are used within this product. I want to see the full ingredients list and it really bothers me that both the product and company that makes it are unwilling to provide that. The product may work fine as intended but there is more to product quality than simple function. Anybody that doesn't realize that either doesn't care or is just deluding themselves. Ingredients matter. Transparency about the full ingredients list matters and consumers should demand it on all personal care items. Enough said.*UPDATE* 08/30/2020: I just opened the product to test it out. I had not needed to up until this point because I still had another lube that was not used up yet. I was EXTREMELY SHOCKED by the odor emanating from this bottle when I first opened it up. To me it smells chemical. I think the smell is like a combination of rubbing alcohol and a wide tipped black permanent marker. There is NO WAY I want this anywhere near my body let alone for it's intended purpose. No way Hosea. I think this stuff is either contaminated &/or defective. I can't use it. I dare not even open the bottle to smell it a second time. I could feel a burning sensation in my nose for over 5 minutes after giving this stuff a sniff. I smell everything I get. I have a sensitive nose but what I smelled was absolutely over the top. There is no way this will be coming in contact with my body - at the least the stuff from the bottle I got. I'm serious!I am extremely disappointed with this product and now regret ever buying in the first place. I wish I would have tried another brand called X-Lube instead. K-Lube is really expensive for what it is not be made to the highest quality standards. What the heck? Give me a break. You've got to be kidding me. I feel it's my duty at this point to warn others, or you might be sorry. By the way, J-Lube which is made with the same base ingredient has zero smell, but it's made with sugar which has other issues. I know because I got some J-Lube and like with everything, I smelled it. So something real serious had to be going on with this bottle I got. If it's the "preservative", then that's nothing I've ever smelled. In my opinion this truly smells offensive and chemical. For others who think it's great, I sure hope it does not contain anything toxic.*UPDATE* 09/28/2020: I contacted the seller Beauty.Kor and explained the problem that I noticed. They suspected this may have been from an off batch. Unfortunately they said it was too late to return for a refund but they offered to send me a replacement bottle from a newer lot. That was extremely kind of them and shows they have integrity, however the replacement was exactly the same as the first one. I felt that based upon the strong odor that this was not something I felt safe using. I contacted beauty.kor but there was nothing else they could do for me. At that point I felt like I was going to be stuck with this and had totally wasted my money. I had pretty much accepted the fact but I as one might imagine I was pretty unhappy about it. I didn't feel safe even trying this stuff. However yesterday I thought I might give a call to amazon simple to give feedback on this product. I didn't expect any sort of remedy because this was purchased from a 3rd party seller. Plus the seller already tried replacing it. However after explaining the problem with the product I was actually offered a one-time courtesy credit back to a gift card for the value I paid for this. I was very surprised by that. I promptly used the credit to purchase some X-Lube powder as a replacement. I have high expectations that it will be much better. As a final experiment since I was given a credit for this x-lube, I decided to mix some up with water just to see if the smell would dissipate or improve. It reasons to presume this might be at least possible when you consider the fact that it is being diluted with a significant amount of water compared to the amount of powder used. The assumption would be that whatever preservatives are used or whatever is causing the chemical smell would be reduced to a level that is non-offensive and/or tolerable in terms of smell and/or taste.I had read in some review in the amazon question section for this product or in one of the reviews that somebody thought the lube had no smell once mixed. I found that very hard to believe based upon the smell of it dry but I thought it was worth just mixing one teaspoon with 8.5 oz of water as a last resort just to see what would happen. It starts to dissolve and turn into gel within 10 minutes. I shook it up in a half full 500ml recyclable plastic water bottle. I shook it up a second time just at 10 minutes just to make sure it had full mixed and dissolved but I left it to settle for another 20 minutes before I decided to open it up and smell it. I really don't want to smell it again but I was tempted just to complete this review.IT SMELLED BAD - MIXED. It smelled worse than it does dry, which is crazy because that was only 1 teaspoon mixed into over a cup of water. That's an over 1:48 dilution ratio! To me it smelled like freshly paved asphalt. You know, the dark black tar like substance they mix with gravel to pave roads and highways? To me it just smelled really gross; in fact the smell made me feel kind of sick - it gave me a slight headache. The smell hung inside my nostrils and sinuses for several minutes afterward and caused a slight burning sensation. I wanted to stop thinking about the smell but it was sure stuck in my nose for awhile. I don't want to smell it again! This 'K Lube' smelled worse to me mixed and diluted in water than it did dry; and it smelled bad dry! I don't think they should be allowed to sell this stuff. I might have to contact the FDA or something about this. Seriously. Thank god amazon gave me a credit. What a waste of time and money on my part. This stuff is going to go strait in the trash. This came in plastic bottles and I prefer to recycle plastic, but I think this stuff might be harmful to the environment. I wouldn't be so unkind to the fish to wash this down the drain or so cruel to wildlife to go dump this outside somewhere. Maybe I could bury in under the dirt somewhere. But probably I'm going to just have to toss these bottles into the trash powder and all, just so as to keep them sealed.I don't like to pass my problems on to others so you can bet I won't be re-gifting it to anyone. Maybe there was just a bad batch but two bad bottles that were exactly the same from over 4 months apart I think is more than just coincidence. I had rated this product 3 stars before and I am now wanting to reduce it down to two stars. I would give it one star but for the fact that the seller tried to make things right I got to at least give them credit. Plus one amazon made things right by me with their stellar service. But for the manufacturer themselves, they deserve only one star I think, unless they were to revamp this formulation to make the full ingredients list transparent and fix whatever is causing it to smell like solvent and tar. I can't believe I'm even having to write a review like this. Believe me I take no pleasure in doing so. But I think people have a right to know.

Hybrid lube recipe
I love this stuff and figured out how to make a hybrid lube that doesn't dry out. Here's what I do, and it is amazing.1. Microwave 9 oz. of distilled water for 20 seconds in a glass jar with a lid.2. Add 1.25 level tsp. Klube and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Allow to sit for 20 minutes.3. Heat 7 g. emulsifying wax and 3.6 Tbl. liquid coconut oil on stove for 1-2 min. on low power until the emulsifying wax is melted. Add any essential oils off the heat.4. With a hand blend, blend the Klube mix and oil mix for 30 seconds.Place in a squeeze bottle and refrigerate if not using immediately. I use it immediately though and dump whatever I don't use the same day.You can make it thicker by adding 1/4 tsp. more a Klube to the recipe above.

Best lube there is !
A bottle makes gallons of this slick stuff.. Very helpful for getting large tires on the rim and lubing hard to reach areas on large machinery. It's also great for pulling large wire through conduit

Back in the saddle
I thought I was losing interest in everyone's favorite natural endeavor - turns out it was the lube I was using. For months every time I would try to have fun and it would feel contrived and unrewarding, I just wasn't enjoying myself. Finally, the previous lube started to smell funny and turn yellow, so I pitched it and ordered this. I think that was an excellent decision - I have been having a looot more fun with this stuff than the previous. Looking around, this is definitely the most lube your money can buy - there is another "initial" lube for the same price, but half the amount, and there is the other "initial" lube that contains sugar, which most people want to steer clear of. The bottle says it will make **20 liters**, or ~700 ounces...that's a ton of lube!! I am not an "intense" user, I'm not doing frequent hardcore activities, just a casual weekend warrior here, so I literally cannot foresee going through this amount (that's good!!). I may be 80 years old and shaking out the last of the powder from this bottle!! Either way, let's crunch the numbers. My previous lube (some kind of "all natural" junk from this website) was ~$16 for 16 oz, $1/oz. That seems to be around the cost for "natural" pre-mixed lubes on this website). This lube is $35/~700oz, or 5 CENTS/oz!! I love a good deal, and I love the thought of never again having to buy premixed lube only for it to smell funny and go bad. With this, I will make as much as I need at a time (not much, it goes a long way), and I don't have to feel bad if I have to pitch some of it. OK, I'm pretty stoked with this powder, but let's talk about the drawbacks. As others have pointed out, there are proprietary preservatives in here. Now, I don't love this either, but I'm not ingesting it, and I suppose you just have to go with your gut on whether to trust the manufacturer to know what they're putting in there. I haven't felt any burning or irritation of any kind, and there is no smell at all, so hard to say what they use, or how much. Next, this stuff is rather stringy, which I don't love - however, I think that's why it works so well, so it's a bit of a tradeoff there. I'm not used to such stringy lube, and it's a little annoying to pinch at it when it comes out of the pump (I made a pump bottle using the pump from the previous lube and a small mason jar.) It seems there are ways to make it less stringy, I might try that if it gets annoying enough, and update here. I didn't think I'd have so much to say about lube but there it is; I really like this stuff, it's simple, it's highly effective, and the best part, I (practically) never have to buy lube again.

It's even better than XLUBE. I love this product and will definitely buy more from it when I run out.

Will never use another lube again.
Will never use another lube again. This stuff will last me years, and I can make it whatever consistency I choose - from super-slick and runny to super-thick and slimy. The only issue is it can be quite a pain to make, as it likes to clump together in big blobs with the lube forming around the powder and protecting it from the water. It seems to settle after a few days though, with the odd stir now and then.

Sex Gloop!
Everyone’s favourite sex gloop. Like stringy mozzarella cheese. But don’t eat it. Dirty boy!
