I've been looking for a little, portable night light / desk lamp for some time. I wanted one without a cord, that also had decent lighting. I decided to try this one out and I have to say, I'm very impressed and so happy I picked this one. First, it charged up really fast with a wall adapter. Second, the main light has three settings, low, medium and high. I saw other reviews that said this light didn't provide much in the way of brightness but I have to totally disagree. For it's size, it puts out a very good amount of light. I used it to read in bed last night without any problems at all and I didn't even have it on the high setting. Third, the base circular ring is a really cool feature. At first, I thought it was kind of gimmicky until I realized that it makes a great night light. After turning the base on with a simple touch, you can run your finger around a color dial and select the color of light to be displayed. The light is not super bright which makes it perfect as a night light. The gooseneck is flexible so you can bend and shape the upper light to the desired lighting angle. All in all, I really like this. I showed it to my kids who basically wanted it for their rooms. Not happening, lol.

I bought this little lamp to use in the bathroom in the early mornings (4 a.m.!) when the full light is just too much to deal with when first waking up. On its highest setting, it provides more than adequate light to shower by (using a clear shower curtain), which makes the early morning transition to being fully awake considerably less unpleasant! I don't use the rotating color base much and it's okay but I personally would prefer the colors to rotate a bit more slowly. One of the best features is its portability and the adjustable gooseneck if also pretty handy. I can move it anywhere in the bathroom (or any other room for that matter) without worrying about it having to be near an outlet. On its highest setting, it's good for about 1 to 1.5 hrs before needing to be recharged and it does seem to charge pretty quickly although you can't use it while it's charging. Depending on what your purpose is for it, it's a pretty neat little lamp.

They say a kids lamp, then I must be a big kid. This lamp rocks! Fits great on my desk and takes very little space. Lots of light and the colors are fun to leave on. Carry it around, better than a flash light. My wife loved it, so bought her one. Then got one for my brother as a Birthday gift, he loves it.. So we got a couple more as Birthday gift's as well.

I bought this lamp to use as a task lamp and a night light and it does an excellent job at both! The array of colors isn't as extensive as advertised. No matter how slowly I move my finger around the dial, I can't hit that soft pink in the photo; a minor complaint and one I can live with. It's great to have bright light, anywhere I need it.

I love this lamp. It is small and does not take up much room on my desk, however it can provide adequate light. In addition to that I can instantly make the base turn any color I want and adjust the intensity of the main light. Very cool little gadget for a low price!

Light color does not change. I should have read it more clearly. Only the base of the lamp changes color. Anyway, it is a good lamp. My office is pretty dark but the mood color lighting is great. Sometimes I'll use the actual LED lamp when I need to write stuff down. It is very bright even on the lowest setting.

It's a good lamp, but it flickers when being charged. For that reason, you should not use it when it's being charged. This can serve as a portable light. For a permanent installation, maybe you need one that's not running on battery.

I like this, it is a good lamp, however I was disappointed that the colors didn't 'roll or roate' constantly through all of the colors. If you want the base a different color you have to tap the color you want.. it does not cycle through them all.
