I am giving it 2 stars because it arrived smashed. The seller didn’t bother with proper packaging, which is a shame because I like these almonds. I guess I will not order them again and will buy other brands from the local store.

OK. My wife buys almonds for the squirrels and crows. These almonds have a much lower price than our local grocery stores. Are they almonds any good? Well, so far the squirrels and crows have not complained. Alright, the crows did complain but they complain about everything.

These almonds are not fresh and have a stale taste to them. We gave them a try for the first time and were disappointed. We are not buying them again.

Healthy snack

These almonds are very crunchy. They have a fresh pleasant almond flavor and they are not at all rancid. They don't have any added salt or oil. They make a great snack. They are all whole unbroken (and unblanched) almonds. They are from the USA. The bag says it may contain shell, but there aren't any shells in my bag. The only negative is the prop 65 warning, which is always a concern in food.

I got these as a gift for my mom as she loves fresh almonds and she thinks this may be the first time she's had California almonds-- or the first time knowingly so. She absolutely loved them, and I did too. They are uniquely fresh and non-modified, and enjoyable.

First, dry roasted almonds have an entirely different taste and texture than oil cooked ones. They're light, crunchy, and have a great flavor.This bag is full of plenty for snacking and recipes - though I'll admit the snacking will most likely be the cause of their demise.
