Works great
I bought this to drain water from a rain gutter reservoir buried in the ground. I used my battery drill to operate. It worked perfectly.

Used and did not work well
Not all that happy with this. The first thing that happened when I attached my drill and spun the pump...water came out. That tells me it was a used product because I had NOT used this pump on any fluid at all. I was sitting there putting everything together before using it when this happened.I decided to go ahead and try it because I NEEDED to use it (that is why I ordered it). I can say that it is very slow...VERY slow. And if you stop the drill, you may not get the fluid to start pumping again. I do not know if it vapor locks or looses its prime...but it takes some effort to get fluid moving again. If you need to reposition the siphon hose...good luck! The shaft is fairly hard to turn. And it may take more hands than you have to operate this pump. 1 to hold the drill, 1 to hold the pump. Now, who holds the siphon hose, and who holds the outlet hose? You can NOT turn loose of the pump or it will wind everything around itself and sling anything that may be inside all over you (ask me how I know). Common sense is that you have to hold it. But with as stiff as it is to turn, it is not an easy task. It can easily slip from your grasp.I guess the fact that it had water inside when I got it set the tone for much of how I feel. But I believe it was likely returned because of the same experiences I had! It did not do much to change how I felt initially. So I am thinking it is just not a very good item to start with. Then add on that it was used, nope, I can not recommend this.

Stem used to turn the pump, is perfectly round
I contacted tech support and they got back to me quickly. The stem on it is designed to just be clamped onto by drill. I think I would have preferred an end with a shape to attach a bit to but it’s a low cost solution pump. It’s smaller than I expected ($1 shown for scale), but it’s likely going to do what I need it to. Good customer support. Arrived fast. Was accurate product

Easy to use and setup
Product attached easily to cordless drill. Using it to pump out water for underground sprinkler head replacement. Works great.

Need to 110v powered drill
I bought the unit to us draw water from a shallow wall a long way from the house so I used my battery powered drill. It barely worked. I haven’t used my 110 v drill yet so I’m hoping it will do better.

Very low quality - burned up on first use
Not much to say -- picked up this pump to help drain a 40 gallon water heater. The pump started fine -- water flow was relatively meager. But, after 10 minutes of running, the pump stopped. Reviewing the pump, small bits of black rubber were inside, apparently from the seals on the pump. This might be fine for a very small job, but for more than a few gallons it's not worth it.

Don't spin at any high RPM's
Pump does not have the best suction power. Overheated very quickly pumping room temp oil. After two uses, lost most of discharge pressure. Complete waste of money.

Great pond pump
We use this pump for sucking out the water in our outdoor pond with all the rain we have gotten here in California. Husband loves it. No more sucking on the end of a hose to get the water to start draining.

Works preety well
Used once to transport water out from a hotwater tank, much faster than let the what drain itself, worth the money.

Had to return
I had to return this product. It just didnt have the power to empty even a small about of water. The drill you attach didn’t move much water. Really not useful
