My Parrot loves this and it is really parrot proof!

Just arrived and not only does it sound pretty, but it's also indestructible.I have a Sun Conure who can take apart almost any bell faster than you can blink, but this one will definitely stump him. It's built for big birds so it's incredibly tough and the ringer is enclosed so as there is no way for the bird to rip it out. It has a heavy macaw-proof clasp and extremely heavy duty chain. This will be a toy he'll have for the rest of his days for sure!

My bird certainly loved it but I didn't realize it would be so shiny, so it sort of acted like a mirror which I avoid because mirrors can cause hormonal and aggression problems. He certainly got attached to it very quickly, so I took it away and am buying a powder coated bell to avoid this problem. Also, I hope the powder coated on is a bit quieter. It's a very good quality product anyway.

This bell is very sturdy and well made. The ringing sounds are loud enough for my blue crown conure to have fun with, but not loud enough to be obnoxious or annoying for people. Reminiscent of windchimes. I received it from the seller yesterday afternoon, and am very pleased with it. My conure took to it immediately, and actually rang it this morning to let me know he was awake. (I cover his cage for sleep.) Would recommend 100%. This was a review of the small 1"x3" version bell.
