Sticks out too far but still great for the price
I bought this for a track bike which I mounted to a wall in a bedroom but found that it sticks out from the wall by quite some distance. This may not be a problem if you have the space but I didn't so I opted to cut off 9cm from its end. This was quite a tricky undertaking as there's quite a bit of fettling from a metalwork point but once done, it looks very nice and works very well. The holes in the wall are quite big and needs a hefty drill. I didn't find the quality of the wall anchors to be very high but they seem to work OK.

Neat storage solution and easy to access
Having installed one of these for my son's road bike in his garage, I decided to get one for my own. The bike is suspended evenly on the crossbar which rests on the hook mounts. These are rubberised to protect the bike frame and a feature I like. It is really important to use the correct masonry drill bit size when fitting as the rawl bolt must fit it perfectly. When drilling, I would recommend a depth stop so that the bolt doesn't go any deeper than it has to or the threaded section may not protrude enough to engage with the bracket. My road bike weights 10kg and hangs well. I'm not sure if the bracket would cope long-term with my mountain bike which is 17kg.

No better than cheaper options
I ordered this and the "LIVIVO Dual Hook Folding Garage Wall Mounted Bicycle Storage Stand Rack Black and Red..." to compare. They're very similar. But the base plate that fits to the wall for this one appeared to be bent and wouldn't sit flat to the wall.It has thicker padding on the forks, but the LIVIVO's padding is enough to prevent scratches and feels slightly "sticky" so the bike doesn't slip. However the fittings it came with are completely useless - the metal is so soft that they won't hold anything. Using them would be dangerous. Buy some proper heavy duty wall anchors and a suitable size masonry bit (I bought M8 x 60mm steel fixings which need a 14mm masonry bit).Interestingly the instructions for this rack say the fittings are only suitable for hollow walls, whereas the LIVIVO says they're only suitable for solid walls. It's the same fittings! In reality they're not suitable for any kind of wall; they're completely unfit for purpose.

Not very sturdy, needed to get extra fittings for a concrete wall.

Great value for money bike mount
Arrived very quickly, the hooks are rubberised to protect the frame. The fixings that are supplied are very good if you are going into solid brick they require a 10mm hole for the anchor. I had to upgrade these as my wall is thermalite, but i knew i would have to do this. The arm could be a little shorter, as the bike is away from the wall by about 30cm which gives loads of clearance though! great product for a snip compared to some others i found on amazon!

Cannot hold a standard MTB
Fixed to the wall easily enough, hung my daughter’s ‘standard’ mountain bike, and within minutes the bar started to drop under the load. It kept dropping until the base plate had bent in enough so that the end of the the bar, and therefore the weight of the bike, was now in contact with the wall. I don’t know why this is designed with a bend in the base plate, but it would seem this bend becomes a point of weakness when under load. This product is no where near fit for purpose

Get your own wood screws
The anchors that come with it aren’t worth the hassle. If you’re screwing into wood or brick go to home depot and get screws meant for that instead. I ended up using little wood screws I had lying around, and some washers, and it’s holding up fine. Not ideal for most frames on bikes, I made that mistake. Your frame has to have a flat, level, section for this hook to work ideally.

Good but...
The bicycle ramp was good for the price. However the mounting expanding screws, were of poor quality. The threads stripped on them and I had to buy better ones.
