TLDR: Liked the size, and the fact that they had both SAE/Metric. Cheap construction required tools and 10-15 minute clean-up. Clips were solid and square after adjusting. This explains the varying reviews.Details:I read the reviews, and ordered a pair. I'm glad I got two for comparison. Good for the price, if you can spend a little time on clean up. Both seemed flat and straight. Both pocket-clip/sliders were hopeless.One slider was so loose, it just fell off. The other was so tight, I could hardly move it. Both rulers needed deburring. I used a medium grid sand paper to clean up edges and corners. Tightened up loose clip with small needle nose (gently, and incrementally). Loosened tight clip with jewelers screwdriver.Found that one ruler was maybe 5 mils wider toward one end, which made clip bind at end. Filed it down until clip rode smoothly. Switched clips back and forth until both worked fine.OK for the price.

I found the clips very tight and difficult to slide; I'll probably just remove them. However, the most aggravating issue is that I ordered them because I needed rulers marked with CM - centimeters - and these stated on the listing they were CM rulers. The markings are CM, but the indicator at the end of the ruler says MM. This can be very confusing. I won't return because I didn't examine the pictures well enough before ordering - I might have caught the error. Buyer beware.

I began using these within a few minutes of receiving them and they have very useful since. I like the fact that the measurements begin at the end of the ruler so I can more accurately measure from tight spots. I also like that the measurements are engraved into the metal instead of just printed on the surface, which means I will get many decades of use.

I build models and from time to time I need a scale to use as a measuring stick to duplicate cuts and this is the thing. The sliding bar is good for measuring the depth of items I need to make a part for.They are handy, durable, and work well, sometimes they get lost in the clutter of a build but they are great to have around in case you need to measure awkward things.

That little T slider thing doesn’t slide am easily. It hangs up and the ruler part is made of some super thin gauge metal. Made in China, need I say more? They specialize in making cheap things cheaper and in a way that makes you sorry you bought it.
