We both tried (male and female, in our seventies) - trying to read the computer screen, close up on paper, at arms length, medium distance, far distance... nothing brings the objects in focus, not waiting a while for our eyes to adjust, not even squinting. We are very disappointed.The glasses seem to be well made, but since they don't fulfill their stated objective, it's a negative rating.
