Assez peu utile.
Un peu déçu de cette guide book dédié aux libertés assises car très peu de renseignements supplémentaires par rapport au RED BOOK qui repertorie toutes les autres pièces.

Superb reference book
The Liberty Seated design was used on all silver coins of the era 1837-1891. Each set of coins (dimes, half dimes, etc) is a challenge in itself and can keep a collector busy for years. Dave Bowers has written a virtual encyclopedia of the Liberty seated coinage, for experts and beginners. Those interested in classic U.S. coins will enjoy this book. Advanced collectors can learn something new. Type collectors may be encouraged to begin a set of dimes, quarters, or any of the denominations. Each date and mintmark is discussed in detail, along with a complete history of the coins. Meticulously researched, with a long list of acknowledgments, Bowers has written a superb reference book. Trade dollars, too, are discussed in detail. Trade dollars, while not the most popular collecting specialty, are lovely and interesting, and long overdue for a reference book. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It has a special place on my shelf.

Continuing excellence in numismatic books
This series is a wonderful introduction of various US coin series. Lavishly illustrated. Plenty of details on the particular coins by date and mint with extensive information on their history. Plus, lots of additional notes on what was going on in the world, why the particular issue survived or didn't, whether this issue was well or poorly struck, and so on. A wealth of information in an easily accessed format.
