These are great casual placemats for every day. The pleather/vinyl-like appearance makes them less appropriate for fancier table settings, but the kidney bean shape adds pizzazz for a smart BBQ or lunch table. I like them for easy cleaning. There's a faint vinyl/rubber smell that goes away with airing, and they do need to be reshaped as they arrive rolled up (in a much too large box -- the packaging is anything but eco-friendly). Otherwise, these are great and I highly recommend.

These placemats and coasters are a very unusual shape having a modern yet stylish look. They are made to look like leather but are made out of a plastic type solid material. One note is that they do have a bit of a chemical smell when removed from their plastic packaging, which I am hoping will go away once they have a chance to air out. They seem like they will be very durable and I like that they can withstand heat and will be very easy to clean.

These are just as pictured and very nice. I love the shape of them, it's adds a lil extra umph to ur table. Definitely happy with these

Love my kid to pieces, but he is a slob. I ordered these for their unique shape and to keep my table clean and the wood free of warps and watermarks. All the placemats I've had before were stylish and kept my table clean, but they were hard for me to clean. These are not leather, but they do wipe up very easily! Problem solved:)

They are super easy to clean they wipe down with water and oils don’t leave a Mark/residue after wiping down. I love the color with our dark chairs and wooden table. I don’t think we will use the coasters but they are nice to have since the place mat itself only fits the plate and silverware nicely because of the triangular shape.

I like they come with coasters! Nice product. Washable and durable. Protects wood table tops nicely from heat and scratches! Would recommend!
