Fragrance is not too strong and overwhelming

I love this Antica Farmacista Santorini fragrance in the 3.4 fl. oz. size for my powder room. Although it could be used anywhere, it may not be strong enough for a large room unless a large size with many reeds is used.. It smells expensive, like a boutique hotel room. It is a spicy citrus scent which contains vetiver which is said to promote concentration especially for people with ADD. I also ordered the same size product from Antica Farmacista to see if comments I had read were correct that the Amazon product was watered down. It is not. Both bottles smell and look and scent rooms exactly the same. Also, unless you order gift wrap from the Antica Farmacista site for an additional $10, you will not get a special box. And you don't get prime shipping except from Amazon. Why did I bother to check? Because I always "do my research" and because I plan to buy this Santorini fragrance from now on (it's that good), and I want to be sure I am getting the real thing.

With the Antica Farmacista Home Ambiance Diffuser, not only can you smell fantastic, but so can the mess you live in!Seriously, I got home from work one day, the wife had this bottle of joy out on a side table, and I had to initiate a full blown investigation into where the lovely smell was coming from. Was there another woman in the house? Did the scent of spring and ocean air drift 500 miles from the gulf? Well, after I got home, did my best Mr. Roger's impression with changing out my shoes (and of course affixing my Sherlock Holmes pipe, tweed hat, & my magnifying glass), My trained olfactory senses and trained nostril flare led me to this little bottle of scent pleasure. This is no pedestrian diffuser, This scent got my hormones kicking into overdrive where I asked my wife what was the occasion for such an aroma sense experience?. . . .Apparently it was our anniversary (but hey that's another story for another product).This smells good, like axe body spray commercial good. Like dancing in a field of flowers with unicorns and rainbows good. Good experience so far.

I discovered Antica Farmacista oil with reeds in a Michelin-starred restaurant in San Francisco. They had these in the Grapefruit scent in their bathrooms. Sometime later, I found these at a local store. After smelling several of them, I fell in love with the Santorini scent. It's such a clean and pleasant scent. I ended up getting a few more to put all over my house.

You always take a chance buying scent online and this one doesn’t work for me. This scent strikes me as a generic men’s “blue” cologne. For an upscale brand, I expect something fresher and unique. Case in point, I love the Prosecco scent from Antica Farmacista. It is an uplifting and sparkling (haha) fragrance.
