The Broken One is the type of book you binge because if you try to put it down and walk away you will not be okay until you’ve finished reading.

This book has so much going on - drama, edge-of-seat action, angst, love, passion and a sweet happy ending.Jesse is so broken. No one knows the depth of his hurt soul. I wanted to cry for him more than once. He will do anything to protect her.Ella has loved Jesse forever but he has kept his distance. Why?This story is a look into their world of hurt, pain and finally finding their middle place to get to a happily every after. It is a long ride and I enjoyed every heart-felt word. It is simply a beautiful action-packed love story that is so well written.PS - Joseph Cannata as Jesse is perfection.

I loved the love story of Jesse and Ella, but the plot was such a twisted mess readers might need a score card to keep up. There were too many characters, probably in preparation for upcoming stories, and each new character who entered the scene seemed to send the plot off in a different direction. I found myself skipping ahead a little to the denouement so I could find out what happened. Jesse and Ella and their love make it the reason for the five stars.

I was so ready to knock Jesse in the head and yell at him to stop being stubborn. If you read book 1, you already knew Jesse had loved Ella in silence but in their book here the silence was screaming.When Ella has a threat against her it’s impossible for him to hide his reaction and when they have to get fake married to keep her safe? There’s no way he’ll keep this secret.This was another excellent romance thriller and even though we may have gotten our hea for this couple it’s safe to say there’s more to come for the falcon falls security team and their loved ones

I love the series but Ella and Jesse’s story is the best! Lived Jesse in Savanna’s story. Don’t miss this one!

Ella had been in love with Jesse forever, but he rejected her every attempt to show him. Jesse had always been in love with Ella but refused to let her know because he was too broken. What would it take to make Jesse realize Ella was his only hope of being whole? This is a beautiful story of belief, loyalty, courage, and unity.

The book was written well I loved it all the way to the end amazing story 🥰 I will read it again and again 🥰

But I loved seeing more of the Hawkins family & learning why Jesse was so broken.The suspense & drama from his previous job was a great story line. The loyalty & love these family & friends have is amazing. And I just the fact that Mama Hawkins is such a force in her own right!!When an op from his past threatens the people Jesse loves, especially Ella, the entire Falcon Falls & Hawkins family are pulled into a cat & mouse game.

Firstly my review is prejudice because I love every book this author has written, if she wrote a shopping list it'd be action packed!! That said, my honest opinion this book is up there with the very best. My reasons - the feels, emotions, heart stopping moments, the alpha guys, intrigue, action, did I mention the alpha military guys? But the women in Ms Sahins stories, are equally strong, solid, loving, forgiving and great at fixing broken heros!! Ella and Jessies story made me sigh, smile, gasp and cry real tears so that's a huge win for me!! Cannot recommend highly enough - looking for a quality engrossing read, give this series a try.

Jesse and Ella’s story has been the most anticipated book we have been waiting for since Roman and Harper’s (Stealth OP’s series) and you will not be disappointed at all.Ella is AJ’s sister and Jesse is his best friend, they where first introduced to us in Chasing Daylight and we have seen little snippets of them in a few books since. Jesse has a mysterious side and when his past comes back to haunt him in the shape of his ex boss, it puts Ella in danger.Jesse thinks he’s so broken that he can’t be with Ella even though he has loved her since they were kids. Ella has tried to get over him but her heart just won’t let her.Your heart will bleed for Jesse but Ella is there for him. This book will have you going through every emotion possible.With each book that Brittney writes they just get better and better. Her books are full action and intrigue and will keep you wanting to turn over every page. I love how she slots in everyone else and keeps us updated on them at just the right time throughout her books and leaves us with little Easter eggs as she calls them.The story of Jesse and Ella is told just how it should be. The epilogue is beautiful and hot at the same time.I love everything Brittney writes as she goes above and beyond with her characters so that we to love them as much as she does. Her words come off the pages as if your watching a movie as you read.I can’t wait for the next book in this series, which was a bit of a surprise but maybe not when you’ve read this book.Hope you all love this book as much as I did. The second book Jesse and Ella's story has been my favourite, so far. I was pleasantly surprised by the Ex Veterans Security Company Ops storyDefinitely had an inkling about Jesse's background but the story plot reveal was goodI like the way they have all gelled together coming friends as well as work colleaguesLooking forward to reading the other's stories, next is our grumpy and grizzley Beckett and our Ms Archer that's definitely going to have sparks flying two very dominant charactersDefinitely hope there's is a book on our mysterious Carter Dominick and joker Jack not forgetting Grey the quiet manWwould definitely recommend

I still think of this story 2 months after finishing it. Why? Because of Jesse and Ella. They are the definition of soulmates and I feel that in my heart 🥹Their journey wasn’t easy (far from it actually) and some may find Jesse’s reasons for not being with Ella and keeping her at arms length as weak. I didn’t feel this, I truly believed he was trying to protect Ella and the way he denied himself the happiness he knew only Ella could provide was heartbreaking 💔I loved the suspense and danger elements of this story. A few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming which is always a win.Everyone deserves the love that Jesse and Ella have for each other 🥰

First time reading this Author, when I started reading this book I honestly didn’t think I would finish it. It’s a slow burner that picks up pace. I thankfully preserved and did enjoy the book in the end.It is fairly tame from what I’m used to reading and the male character wasn’t as Alpha as I would have like but the female character was on point.I would read another book from the Author as the writing is good and it was an enjoyable read in the end.
