Easy to use
Review from the user:After much research and wondering I settled on this brand of dip powder (as much as Kiara Sky seems lovely, its pricey for a starter). I'm very happy with the kit. Application is very simple, instructions were easy to follow, the "side products" such as the nail file and brush are good quality so allow for a good, clean finish. I am by no means good at doing my nails and opted for dip powder as polish always chips on day one pretty much and I generally make a mess of it.What I like most is that you have control over how thick you want to go, something I've always disliked about acrylic in even good salons is my nails always feel thick and heavy, this is not the case here.I did do one nail first and let it harden simply to try and remove the product, I did this with a piece of foil and acetone soaked cotton round after having buffed some of the top layers off. It came off as an acrylic would, with patience! It was however not difficult to remove.I cannot stress enough that if you do not have patience to soak this off at home and are not prepared with the right products to soak off at home, then go to a salon. Treat this like acrylic. Prep the nail properly, work clean and remove gently so as not to cause damage. I don't believe this product will damage the nail, it's more about how you treat your nails during the process from application to removal and care, allowing for some rest in between applications.I do a lot of housework and haven't had any chipping yet, I do however wear gloves to wash dishes.I dropped one star as the colours are not as vibrant as shown in the image. The top coat is very tacky, do not get this on your skin as it's like a glue, but this does mean it dries in seconds.Overall very happy with the product and will happily purchase a darker dip powder from this brand in future.

Decent quality but colours do not match the advertisement.
I have the 8 pack purple variety set. Of all the brands I've tried this one lasted longest without chipping, though not to the 20 day mark, only about 5 days or so. It also depends on how much you work with your hands, If they get banged around a lot don't expect it to last. My biggest grievance is that the colours don't match the ad. I was excited to get a nice bright purple red colour but it turned out to look more Grey purple. And the nude beige is also less bright and skin tonish and instead is more Grey looking as well. All in all quality is decent but don't expect colours to match the ad.

Unusable - but here's an update
UPDATE: After the Base that came with this kit was unusable (no brush or brush fell into the bottle), I ordered a separate bottle of Base (because it would get to me much more quickly than this kit was delivered). I tried the kit and it's pretty great. I would recommend two coats of the clear powder, rather than the one the instructions recommend. I used one, plus two coats of the color powder, and after smoothing my nails came out thinner than I would have liked (and I really like them thin) and had some chipping in the first couple weeks. Next time I'm going to do two coats of the clear base and I think it will be fantastic. I'm changing my rating from two stars to four, because I really think they should recommend two base coats. This seemed like it would be a great kit, and I saw a very useful tutorial on youtube, but the brush for the base was stuck to the bottle. When I unscrewed the top the brush and the rubber lip separated from the handle. I tried to get it out of the bottle, but it just tore the rubber ring and made a huge, sticky mess. So this was unusable. I'll need to buy a new bottle of base. It makes me wonder if the product is old, beyond its suggested life.

Perfect for NewBees..
First time ever using any acrilic at home. Due to COVID, my nails were last done almost two months ago at a salon. It did take me several hours but that's only due to me not wanting to make any mistakes and having to do it over again. I had one nail out of 10 turn out funky. But, I can deal with it. I did find a very easy removal method on utube.. IT WAS AMAZINGLY EASY.. much easier than the salon or any other method of wrapping and drilling away. Hot water and plastic baggies,,,,look it up on line. I did use the glitter on top of the pink to cover my imperfections. Follow the instructions exactly and you won't have any difficulty. If you find the video on line it shows you don't need a drill to use this product. To bad none of these companies show the easier method to remove. The colors are very light. I will purchase darker the next time after I get use to doing this myself. Probably won't go back to the salon ever again. These pictures are after two weeks. You can see I went to close to my cuticles. Try not to do that or they can lift. They are just starting to chip but it's due to me being a beginner. My left thumb is only messed up due to me using the brush to quickly. Make sure you wait the allotted time for it to set or you will have smush marks like I've got. I'm going to do them over today and see if they come out better. Yes, these are my nails. They will break if I don't use acrylic.
