I'm not wearing the harness so I'm presuming it's comfortable!!My dog seems happy in it. I bought this harness for my Labrador bitch. She pulls a bit but it's also to use for mantrailing and to get her used to a harness for swim therapy. Its not going to cure your dog pulling, that takes training too, however this harness is a great design with the Y front. And it certainly aids heal work training and prevents the need to constanly pull the dog by a collar.Its a sturdy harness, looks and feels well made. Its easy to adjust and although my dog measured inbetween sizes possibly needing a medium at its largest, I was advised to get the large and its a very good fit on its smaller size. This means it will fit my 2 other dogs who are bigger than her, should they need it.....She is a rescue and her previous owners used a drawstring anti pull harness (awful gadget) that I can only presume pinched when in use. It's a struggle to get many harnesses on her as they often go over the dogs head. This harness has a neck opening (see photo) as well as fastening on the rib cage.....so it can be put on her back and done up around her neck.Very happy with my purchase

Having been very pleased with previous purchases of this harness over a few years, I purchased this one only to find there has been a re-design. The metal loop for attaching a lead has been moved from the centre position to the back. The effect of this is that when there is any reasonably sharp pull on the lead the fabric flaps to either side then turn in on themselves upsetting the balance of the harness and possibly causing discomfort to the dog. It seems that a fabric tag marked LED has to take centre position now for some reason. Also a metal quick release buckle has been added to the 2 existing excellent plastic quick release buckles. It is in a section of harness which was solid fabric before. It seems that this is because the overall length of the fabrics have been reduced slightly so this extra buckle saves forcing the front of the harness over the dog's head. However, it means 3 buckles to fasten/open instead of 2 and the new one is much more difficult - especially for anyone who lacks finger dexterity. Regrettably I will be looking for another brand/design when replacing this as the main purpose has been ruined in order to provide a means of attaching a "night light" which could easily have been done on the old lead attachment anyway.

Ordered this for my 18.5 kg staffy to replace a worn out Julius. I wanted to try something different as didn't like how she can easily back out of the Julius one and she hates it going over her head.It seems sturdy for a staffy but alas I didn't get to fully test it as she didn't like it and the front padded chest area was to big, ordered the L as she's 26 inch chest and 18 inch neck which fit her but like I said the chest padded bit was to big (could fit my whole hand through it even though neck fitted spot on (she's a petite girl) I've tryed a few Y shaped harnesses on her and seems they all fit baggy at the front so gonna have to stick to the Julius type which arnt very secure.It's such a shame as I really liked this harness and the colour really suited her being dark, I liked how it didn't have to go over her head but having said that I had to knock a star off as the neck clip which is metal was a bit fiddly on a fidgety dog to unclip and clip the neck , maybe a plastic clip like the girth would be alot quicker to fasten and unfasten.I'm gutted I didn't get to fully test it out on her but she just didn't like it either was walking round like a robot lol so maybe because it was new she felt uncomfortable in it and was a bit stiffer than the Julius one (Julius is old now so softer) I would still recommend it though for a dog who's not fussy like mine. Btw you have to pay £3.99 to return it which is not great considering you pay prime fee but I got it refunded as complained through Amazon webchat.

Love this harness!! I wanted a harness with a top grab handle, and lead attachments at front (for when she’s pulling) and on the top (for when she’s not). The grab handle is perfect for when she’s anxious and I need to stop her reacting. Much better control and no more choking on her collar. For some reason she no longer pulls, even when I have the lead clipped on the top. I can’t explain this, but I’m delighted all the same! Lots of adjustment, with padding in just the right places. Sits slightly back from the underarms so no rubbing either. Oh, and there’s and LED strap on the top for attaching the flashing light - just love it!

This is quite bulky for a small dog and a bit fiddly to put on and take off around the neck, so the dog gets somewhat agitated. I found the the size doesn't reduce as much as I would like around the neck and she sometimes gets her paws stuck in it when running about. The harness is very well made, however, and I am sure she will grow into it. I would suggest that this product would be perfect for something a bit larger than a miniature JRT.
