Practice before you "need" it, works well
I recently had an abdominal surgery that I knew was going to limit my ability to reach and wipe. I bought this ahead of time and practiced with it. It's definitely a bit different and sometimes takes a bit of work to get the toilet paper off the end if you secure it too well. Still, once I got the hang of it, it was extremely helpful post surgery.

Comes apart at the seam
EDIT: The mechanism to make it release paper has now stopped working as well and I may need to return it. DisappointingThis product works once you get the hang of it. However the silicone on the handle has come loose from the plastic because it is not securely connected to the plastic.
